I would have liked to give this restaurant a five star rating, the service was excellent, it is a quiet restaurant, but both my wife and I had the fish soup and it was well below the quality we see in France because the broth was way too salty and most of the seafood was mussels with few pieces of... French like this is is hard to find anywhere in the USA. Dinner is served like the French do it--slowly; and with a focus on enjoying the food, the wine and your company while you await the magic happening for you in the kitchen. The Foie Gras appetizer---yummmm--seared to perfection and topped with a to-die-for bing cherry sauce. Their French... More

We can't count the number of times we've been served exquisite meals here by Justin and Zoe but last night we enjoyed another incredible meal to celebrate a special event. We wouldn't think of going elsewhere and we continue to be amazed by their creativity dedication and excellent service......not to mention DELICIOUS food! Thank you for making our last minute... I had the highest of hopes for Olympia's only French Restaurant, but instead I felt let down by both its quality and its service. Maybe my expectation of not having to stop at Burger King on the way home was too much to ask. The portions were inconsistent and there was just mediocre service even though it was Saturday night... I'd read the owners plan is to offer authentic French fare in a farmhouse style setting. They have pretty much succeeded. Our son who cooks on ships and has considerable chef training was with us and more than once he commented he wished he had the time to do things right the way this place does. My gâteau au foie... My husband and I recently tried this restaurant and came away very happy. We had wine, appetizer, salad, entree, dessert and coffee. Everything was delicious. The pork belly was cured in house, the pea salad was my favorite, and my husband said his steak was great. We will be visiting again.

My husband is in the wholesale/retail food industry in NYC, well established over 35 years. Suffice to say, from NY to L.A., ( and beyond the USA) we have dined in many fine restaurants. We were in town visiting our newly married daughter and son-in-law who spent the week introducing us to much of the local fare. While all of... More

I love watching foodie shows, and have been sad never to have eaten at a French restaurant before. Hubby and I went here for a date night on a Saturday and had no idea they didn't open until 5:30. The door was in an odd location and confusing to find. But, the owner/chef saw us peering in and let us... More

We just dined again last evening at La Petite Maison for our 35th anniversary and we were once again treated to a divine dining experience! We recently had a marvelous visit to Paris and the cuisine last night rivals any meal we had there. We will continue to consider this restaurant as the best in Olympia. We will return whenever... Nice change from before, upgrades are perfect. Reminds me of another world with a similar ambiance. Staff are very personable and inviting. They made me feel like I was in their home as a personal guest. Food was well presented and heavenly. Tenderloin served as tender as any I've ever had, melted to my palate like ambrosia. I've only had... More
