If you like to eat breakfast at anytime, this place delivers with courteous and prompt service. My husband and I discovered this gem a month ago and we've eaten there at least 1x to 2x a week (we both love eating breakfast for dinner). I even asked our server if I could get the chili over tater tots with a... More

We stopped in here for breakfast. It was a typical greasy spoon breakfast but delicious and the waiter was super nice. After breakfast we went to the lounge, a separate area in the back to have a screwdriver. The bartender was pretty comical although not trying to be. Not sure if he was hungover or strungout my complicated vodka and... More

Cool pie milkshakes and a fried veggie burger makes this diner a place to repeat visits. Definitely did not leave hungry.

I had been hiking all day in Olympic National Park, arrived at my hotel late on a Sunday and had not yet eaten dinner. The desk staff recommended this place and it did not disappoint. It had that local diner and late night hangout kind of feel. The grilled chicken sandwich was good, but was overshadowed by the tomato basil... More

My favorite meal of all meals is excellent fried chicken. I have had fried chicken all over the U.S. and so far a restaurant in Vicksburg MS is tops. A very close second best place for me so far is King Solomons Reef which is located in Olympia. It is excellent. 3 of us had the fried chicken and all... More

Had breakfast here and the food was good but nothing special. I did enjoy their apple slices with mint and lemon. It was good but the omlet was average and the sausage gravy was a bit bland and too thick.

Our family doesn't get up to our State Capitol often but when we do, King Solomon's Reef is the funky soul food eatery we all choose. The food is superb! From the Corned Beef Hash to the Breakfast Burritos. From a delightful Denver to a plate heaped with Chicken & Waffles. This place has got it down when it comes... More

So I was hanging out in my favorite city .......olympia.....and wanted a good breakfast. The wonderful aroma that was coming from king Solomon called to me!!!! I went in and ordered some eggs and hash. It was unbelievable. I was expecting the typical hash that looks like it came from a can.... Nope not this stuff. It was petite chunks... More

My wife and I went to the Reef for the first time on 12/19/13, when we needed a late-afternoon bite to eat before catching a bus to the train station. (We might have gone to Darby's, but we had no interest in waiting 45 minutes for service.) My wife had the tomato soup (with fresh basil and parmesan), and I... More

We were so happy to see that the Reef reopened. Serving Artesian water, a great burger and fresh salad with fresh gf and regular pie ala mode! Trying NOT to go every week for dessert is our challenge. Servers are pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable. Plenty of seats for a group, but we like to sit at the counter and watch... More
