The Fish Tale Brew Pub in Olympia is basically a cool place to hang out, and rub shoulders with the locals. Great food and loads of locally brewed beers - your American experience won't be complete without it! I ordered the nachos which were supposedly a starter, but when the plate arrived there was a veritable mountain of food before... More

You have to yell at the person next to you in order for them to hear you and then they have trouble hearing you even if you do yell! It is so loud in there that I'm sure it's ear damaging. I love the pan fried oysters and the service is effecient. Plenty of parking for free too.

The beer and cider are good. There is something for everybody. In addition to a quality hamburger, you will find a menu that is diverse in its offerings. The food is good pub good with a touch of ethnic foods available. I must say that the onion rings are deliciously memorable. If you like onion rings, grab an order.

I'm a visitor to Washington and the Fish Tale was recommended by family who live in Olympia. Sat outside on a warm afternoon and started with a round of beers and basket of fries. Everyone in our group had a sandwich of some sort - reuben, turkey, veggie and pulled pork. Each is served with a choice of sides which... More

The Fish Tale is a great place to meet up with friends and have a locally brewed beer with a healthy, diverse menu. It has a lively, noisy atmosphere and tables placed close together. The food is great, the servers are very friendly and the service is quick. The place gets full often and at times it's hard to find... More

The Fish is a great place to meet friends after work. The atmosphere is fun and lively, and the service is always good. Great food--my favorites are the steamed clams, nachoes, fish tacos, Cuban sandwich, fish and chips, and the reuben. I don't drink alcohol, but everyone raves about the beer selection--bring your growler! They have yummy organic sodas. They... More

If you like local brew pubs you'll feel welcome the minute you walk in. I think they had between 15 to 20 beers on tap when I was there with my family. They have their own Fish Tale beers, Leavenworth Biers, Reel Ales and ciders. Some of the stand outs for me were Swordfish Double Cascadian Dark Ale, Starfish Imperial... More

Fish Tale Brew Pub is a real community gathering place. With locally brewed beers and a good menu, this is a great hang-out. Salads are good and if you want to indulge, the French fries are wonderful. I would say 'to die for,' but that may be a little too close to the truth about fried foods. We go here... More

We have been here several times. The Pub is very popular with locals and tourists. Prices are reasonable, food is fresh, and the ales are great. (The blonde is my favorite.) Not much for ambience and a little noisy, but it's a pub.

Very popular (and loud- with good conversation!) local pub. Beers are excellent, and food a few notches above typical pub food-- lots of locally sourced ingredients. Good veggie options, too! Can't leave this place out if visiting Olympia and u like good beer.
