My husband and I had one of our first dinners in Olympia here and we absolutely loved it. I had a baked goat cheese salad and my husband had the pork chop. Both were excellent. I also had a ginger rogers cocktail, so yummy. The service was excellent and it would be a nice place for an anniversary or birthday... More

We had a great dinner at Cicada. The server was professional, standing back to avoid interrupting when she could see someone was talking. The duck breast entree was fantastic, cooked perfectly, with a cherry sauce that complemented the duck and mashed sweet potatoes nicely. The salmon and steak that our group had were also very good.

Fabulous restaurant. Have visited numberous times, most recently on Mother's Day. Cafe was well staffed and prepared to sever many people, including my party of 10. Have tried several menu items, all of which are unique and tasty; always have to return to my default item, the Big Easy. Keep up the good work!

Great breakfast, super yummy bloody mary's! Much needed as the the B & B we stayed at, Swantown Inn had screaming kids that lived there. It was so nice to get out and get great food and a drink. Thanks Cicada

Egg shell in the omelette; overpriced breakfast; too much of the Seattle grunge look in the facility and the staff. Borderline grubby.

I finally got to have breakfast at Cicada, and I've got to say that the new team has really spruced up the place. The interior was stylish and clean, and the old and abused restrooms have been completely updated and were immaculate. I had eggs scrambled with an olive tapenade, flash fried razor clams, home fries, and toast. The clams were... More

This use to be my go to place for out of town friends or if I just wanted a great dinner. The previous owner/chef was imaginative and made every item on his menu flavorful and interesting. Recently new ownership came in and I hadn't been there since then so I stopped in today. The menu has been highly revamped and... More
