This place reminded me of a restaurant that would be in napa valley. Really nice menu, amazing drinks, great service. Somehow this place has a sophisticated yet relaxed vibe. Loved it.

Nice place emphasizing local seafood and a comprehensive wine list. Friendly, professional service, an attractive interior (cozy on a chilly January evening), and an interesting menu. A nice step up from several of the rather generic alternatives in Olympia.

We made reservations through Open Table and the four of us arrived close to 7 p.m. The dining room has changed since we were there last, with a view now of the kitchen area. We ordered drinks and caught up. We ordered the Thai crab cakes for an appetizer. They were wonderfully prepared and tasted great! For dinner, the ladies... More

The clams were fresh and fabulous and came to the table hot! I had a wonderful coconut crusted red snapper also served piping hot. My husband had a delicious white sauce pizza with pork belly and clams. The staff was attentive and pleasant. Wonderful wine selection. Great attmosphere! Can't wait to go there again!

Waterstreet was jumping during our Monday evening visit -- the nearby Legislature's now in session! But the staff at this charming eatery in a rehabbed historical building in downtown Olympia was more than equal to the task of coping with the crowd. The menu featured many intriguing dishes showcasing winter ingredients. The food was tasty and well-executed, nicely displayed on... More

It is called Water Street 'Cafe' but it is definitely a restaurant. We went there as a family to celebrate my 70th birthday and we had an excellent dinner - plenty of choice for all ages. My husband was very impressed with the comprehensive wine list.

We love Waterstreet and think it is the best restaurant in Olympia. It is especially nice on a cold winter evening when you can dine with the fireplace warming the room. Over the years I have eaten there at least 30 times and only once did someone at our table send something back to the kitchen which was immediately taken... More
