The Hearthfire is a great location. Looking right out the bay so you can catch the evening sunset. If you are looking for a great tranquil late afternoon dinner to watch the sunset, this is not the place. It is way to noisy to have a quiet intimate conversation. It seems that the clientele is a lot younger than most... More

We went to lunch there after our grandchildren's Communion. It was a wonderful water-view as well as terrific lunch selections for both adults & children, we had 4 all under 9 yrs of age. Everyone was happy with their meal selections. Extra beverages were free too. Nice for the kids & adults who were non-alcoholic consumers. It was full at... More

My husband and I are dinner with friends here on a Wednesday night. The waiter was great. Very personable and attentive. Their crab and corn soup was delicious as was the prawn appetizer. However, for a restaurant situated right on the water, we felt the menu was very predictable. Shellfish was not much of an option. No scallops at all.... More

Close to downtown and located at the end of Marine Drive offering a spectacular view of the bay and the Olympics. Suggest ordering seafood - our group had chowder, prawns, and scallops. We were pleased with what was on offer, not of gourmet quality but quite good and price is reasonable. Desserts with rhubarb were a real plus. The service... More

Exceeded our expectations! The food was excellent but they messed my order up......I'm not saying it was bad they just left a little off the plate. I mentioned it to the manager Michael and he more then took care of it, he had another order prepared and took the price off of our bill.........well that's more then they needed to... More

First time traveling to WA, and we wanted to meet friends for Sunday dinner. Made reservations at Anthony's for 1:30. At that time on a Sunday, brunch was being served. The food was delicious. The restaurant was not that busy. We got to sit by a window overlooking the marina. Service was fine. Brunch included a basket of blueberry coffee... More

The general axiom of restaurants is that the quality of the dining experience is inversely related to the quality of the view. Perhaps my family and I caught them on an off night, but the service, while friendly, was very poor: several errors in bringing us the wrong food and very long waits for the food to arrive. The food... More

Every time we visit family we are either taken to Anthony's or Hearthfire. Both restaurants are owned by the same ownership. Out of two visits to each over several years, I have to say that they have been consistently Awful!!! I think the view is the only thing that draws diners to these restaurants since they are both on the... More
