This bakery in down town Olympia has a good breakfast and great baked goods. Their bread is wonderful. Good coffee too.

Bread and Croissants are the best! Also makes wonderful made to order sandwiches. It is usually so busy that at times it is hard to get in the door(especialy at lunch). I highly recommend it!

Most of the goodies you can eyeball first so you know what you are getting. The cafe is crowded. Just think - Europe. It will be muggy in a warm day - drafty in a cool one. But just enjoy your goodies - they are fresh and good.

Simple little place but I go for the fresh bread. Fresh bread can make a meal and this place does it for me.

We were headed to Acqua Via but it was closed so we ended up at the Bread Peddler. The food and service were fantastic. Didn't read a single review before walking in so no expectations. There were 5 of us so we tried a variety of food and desserts. All agreed it was great. The best thing we ate by... More

This place is one of our favorites. We love the croissants, scones, cookies, coffee cake, sandwiches and breakfast is usually very good. The only downfall is the service which is slow and has a serious attitude most of the time. Occasionally you will get someone that actually doesn't think they are doing you a favor.

Bonjour!!! I have lived in Olympia all my life and have never eaten at The Bread Peddler. Oh my goodness!!!! This is a small, casual, almost like bistro, that has the yummiest French cuisine. I had lunch there and the servings were plentiful. Not typical of most French restaurants. It was packed with customers. They offer several types of bread... More

I have not had better bread or eggs in Olympia. Outstanding pastries and baguettes. Eggs coccette (sp?) are out of this world. Brewed coffee is okay, espresso is better, service is friendly but slow and disorganized.

Wonderful breads, pastries soups, salads a d sandwiches. The Croque Madame alone is worth the trip to Olympia. Also not to be missed the Tomato Tartlettes and anything in the pastry case. Bravo!
