This local gem will transport you to the French countryside with every bite. Delicious fresh artisan baked goods and so much more. Homemade soups daily, great breakfast options, and lunch sandwiches and specials. It's relaxed atmosphere is welcoming and locals flock here daily to enjoy this unique french influenced hotspot.

A friend of mine bought lunch, as long as we had it at The Bread Peddler. Despite my living in Olympia for many years, I'd never been there. The menus are written on chalk boards, high enough for me to not need reading glasses. There were many choices in sandwiches made of their bread, as well as soups and dishes.... More

I love this place. Fresh and yummy food. Always busy and sometimes difficult to get a table, but well worth the wait. No table service, but counter service works well. Terrific pastries, breakfasts, and lunches. Can't miss with anything you order. Some outdoor seating near the sidewalk. Makes me think of Paris.

full flavored freshly made organic soups, sandwiches, even better pastries. Great for breakfast and lunch, sml dining space, popular with the locals so it is almost always crowded. Worth the wait and a little inconvenience.

While visiting some friends in Olympia, WA, I was asked to bring some dessert items to a dinner party. An acquaintance recommended that I try the Bread Peddler. I was just blown away at how delicious all their baked goods are. The marionberry pie was the best pie I have ever had in my life. The Gateau Basque (cream filled)... More

We consistently stop here on the weekends when we are looking for a delicious new pastry to try or want a savory breakfast. This place is usually packed on the weekends with the farmer's market crowd and after church crowds, yet you can still get a table. If you can't, you can always get your pastry or coffee to go... Such a cozy and cute place for us bread loving folk. Loved the vegan pull apart...... Not too sweet, healthy and delish! It goes well with a hot cup of jasmine tea for breakfast or a snack

We stayed a couple blocks from The Bread Peddler during our trip. We woke up and walked here every morning of our stay in Olympia. It is VERY good, to say the least. Our friend who is a local would have breakfast and coffee here every morning on his days off. The first morning I had the frittata which was... More

Was here when they opened at 7 am for some coffee and a light breakfast. They were quite willing to let two of us share a two-egg breakfast platter (they are really large) and brought the extra plate with a smile. I had their fritatta special - a great vegetable and egg blend. I asked for it "soft" - and... More
