We consistently stop here on the weekends when we are looking for a delicious new pastry to try or want a savory breakfast. This place is usually packed on the weekends with the farmer's market crowd and after church crowds, yet you can still get a table. If you can't, you can always get your pastry or coffee to go... Such a cozy and cute place for us bread loving folk. Loved the vegan pull apart...... Not too sweet, healthy and delish! It goes well with a hot cup of jasmine tea for breakfast or a snack

We stayed a couple blocks from The Bread Peddler during our trip. We woke up and walked here every morning of our stay in Olympia. It is VERY good, to say the least. Our friend who is a local would have breakfast and coffee here every morning on his days off. The first morning I had the frittata which was... More

Was here when they opened at 7 am for some coffee and a light breakfast. They were quite willing to let two of us share a two-egg breakfast platter (they are really large) and brought the extra plate with a smile. I had their fritatta special - a great vegetable and egg blend. I asked for it "soft" - and... More

My sister and I went to the bread peddler for lunch, and the food was really delicious. I had the quiche of the day with a side salad, and my sister had the Greek Salad, which she raved about. Even though we ate later in the afternoon, the food was very fresh. My side salad was not overdressed, but had... More

The Bread Peddler Café in Olympia Washington is a little disorganized, slightly run down & cramped but this adds to the atmosphere and the experience of eating there. It reminds me a bit of eating at a café in Paris…. They have a wonderful selection/display of pastries and breads . I ordered French Onion Soup without the crouton, it was... More

I've eaten breakfast, lunch and and dessert here--everything is amazing...High quality and nothing like it anywhere around here....Coffee is very good as well. Never had something I didn't like. Highly recommended. Can get a bit busy as the day goes on and offerings change daily and can sell out. A few tables for groups and window seating for people watching.... More

Two of my sisters and I stopped there for a bite on Mother's Day weekend and we were so happy we did. I had roasted tomato and lentil soup that was, hands down, one of the BEST soups I've ever had. Had it with a couple of slices of amazing bread and a delicious simple salad. Wow - and the... More

Excellent coffee and baked products. Sandwiches and soups are also delicious. The only drawback is tight space. It is hard to navigate through people waiting in line.
