No dislikes!! Weather was outstanding for a January trip. We didn't expect the sunny first day. It was beautiful. 2nd & 3rd day was just overcast, so no complaints. Loved every minute..just what we needed.

We were desperately trying to find on our second night stay just a local non pretencious, non tourist restaurant with casual atmosphere, great ambiance, service and excellent seafood, and this restaurant has it all. A relaxed small restaurant with an added extension. Dress is casual and highly recommended by locals so we were in. Initially we drove by it as... More

We just ate at Mikes yesterday, and most reviews here I think are wrong, we loved the place, lved the food, and the waiter couldn't have been nicer. We spent 104$ for lunch, but didn't care,we had lots of food, calm chowder, shrimp cocktail, fish and chips, and the fish sandwiches are hugh,I cant say enough how great this place was,If you are looking for a... I recently ate at Mikes and frankly was disappointed in the food. I ordered the razor clams, which should be a local specialty. They were waaaaaaaay overcooked, to the point of the breading on the edges being almost blackened. You can't do that to clams. They're very delicate and turn into rubber when overcooked. My son had the fried oysters... More

We all think Mikes is the best place in Ocean Shores for fish & chips and clam chowder. The atmosphere is a little modest. It is hard to find, because it is located behind Mike's Fish Market. But if you are looking for some good food in a casual atmosphere, after playing all day on the beach Mikes is a... More

I live in the area, and this is my third time to Mike's in six years. Twice to the restaurant, and once the other day to the market. The restaurant was unfortunately like some of the other reviews in that service was ok, but my seafood fettuccine was oily and fish overcooked. I stopped in the other day to see... More

First of all, why would you dump a bunch of sauteed onions and mushrooms on top of a couple of fried razor clams and allow all the moisture and fat from them soak into and turn the breading into an unappetizing paste? Second: plain, unseasoned, pasty, white rice is a ridiculous excuse for a side dish; and the fried zucchini... More

Fresh fish, good fish and chips. Kind of interesting little spot - as I recall the restaurant is behind the fish store. We only found out about it from family members who had visited before and recommended.

We had the clam chowder which tasted good..but also tasted like it came out of a can...and we also had the fish and chips...chips were good, fish was very very greasy...yuck....i wish i would of had one of the pasta dishes...would of been healthier and probably tastier...just i guess can't expect much from an order of fish and chips....but battered... We have been visiting Ocean Shores at least 2 -3 times per year and have most always been disappointed at the few restaurant choices that have good food and we would like to return to -let alone spend our hard earned money for food that is just so-so. Discovered Mike's seafood. Fresh seafood market in front. It is very good,... More
