Don't spend money for a view

The food was very good. I recommend the Salmon Sampler for an appetizer. The fries were hand cut and had a special seasoning that I liked. The fresh fish was yummy and reasonably priced. The service was good and friendly.

The front side of the building is a wonderful fresh fish market, and the restaurant occupies the rear. After a day of driving, we discovered this gem for our lunch. Starting off with the "fresh out of the water" Wilipa Bay oysters we were in heaven. Then we moved on to the sandwiches. The service was fantastic... attentive without being... More

This place came recommended to us from the staff at the hotel we stayed at, so we were hoping it was "locals place". The fact they are a restaurant and a fish market, we thought the seafood would be fresh but we were wrong. I'm from Alaska and live in Seattle, so needless to say I have high expectations for... Not much to say..was looking forward to their acclaimed super good chowder. It was cold, way too thick, and just really bad. Especially if you have a taste and want for really good chowder. To be fair, however, we have not had any other food here. The service was fair to poor, not much of an atmosphere. Just many more... More

I had six beautiful oysters for $9! Wow! And 2 of us had cioppino for our main course that we really enjoyed. The fish special of halibut was also excellent. As well, the service was fast and charming. And the chef visited all the tables to say hello. A wonderful find, recommended by our hotel manager.

Yes, we really enjoyed the clam chowder. The ambience was lacking, and, we didn't want to go until someone said Mike's was the place to go. Best chowder in OS and Newport and Cannon Beach!! Purchased four servings next day from the Mike's Mrkt. Took home and finished in 2 days. Staff friendly. Chef visited with the customers. Would be... More

We went to Ocean Shores on vacation stop here and had crab Louie's and they were the worst we have ever ate anywhere definitely a waste of our money. Plus the croutons that were on and we're so hard they were mon edible.

I had to make sure i was reviewing the correct restaurant because there was such good reviews and my experience was so bad. We got 4 orders of fish and chips to go, plus 2 chowders. The fries were bigger than the 2 pieces of fish, it was unbelievable. The chowder was runny and had a horrible lemony taste. What... More

Best halibut we have ever tasted, perfect and light batter, very tasty, and very tasty scallops dish as well. Best seafood in Ocean Shores, we think. No fancy ambience, but great food.

The fish and chips were not the best that I have had. The fish had no taste. I went by the trip advisor reviews that said it was the best fish and chips. My husband had the shrimp basket and his food was great compared to mine I will not get the fish on my next visit; I will get... More
