On a weekend getaway to Ocean Park in our motorhome, we decided to walk the 5 blocks to the Berry Patch since it sounded like the closest place to our RV park to get a fish dinner tonight. After ordering we overheard the waitress telling someone trying to pay, that they don't take credit cards. After quickly counting our cash... More

On the way to the coast, this is a very convenient stop for breakfasts. Friendly staff, meals good, prices reasonable.

The best part of our lunch at the Berry Patch was unobtrusively listening to four old codgers pass the time over a cup of coffee at the table near us. Nobody rushed them even though it is a small restaurant. The food was quite good although a little spendy for a local cafe. Service excellent. We enjoyed our time there.

Had breakfast as little else was open in Ocean Park. Small place, food was adequate, but price was a bit high.

This little dive took a huge chunk of change from our vacation food budget. $72 lunch for four adults and one child. Nothing extraordinary food wise....a glass of iced filled with soda was $3.50, fries cost extra not included with the meal. Tables greasy, floors were nasty, several items on the menu not available, service was lukewarm. No credit cards... More

This is a very small place with a fairly small menu. The food is good, but more than it should be. I like their chicken fried steak and would go back again. Another reviewer said they are cash only. I didn't see any signs that said that and I happened to have cash on me so I was okay. Usually... More

Menu was way overpriced. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and the toast was burnt. Portions were tiny. For the price, I expected yummy food but it was just alright. They do not take credit/debit cards. Only allowed to pay with cash. ATM machine there but charged $4:50 to withdraw cash. $3 for a soda, $10 for a tiny burnt Reuben... More

So my husband and I passed up all the restaurants on our way to stay at the Wyndham in Washington. The only thing open was The Berry Patch. I walked in and the decor was too quaint for my taste. I ordered the chicken strip basket and it was great. They used Panko bread crumbs on the chicken strips and... More

Visited the Berry Patch on May 23rd. In Ocean Park across from Jack's. After the drive down from the Roy area, we were wanting something to take to my Uncle's for dinner. We've had breakfast there before which was good and a wee high in cost but not bad. Well Dinner was a different story! 3 bacon cheese burgers, 1... More

Chef Scotty is a Great Chef, Didn't have a problem with him or the cuisine, we substituted tater tots for the Fries that were supposed to come with the meal, it was a Bacon Cheeseburger basket, when we got the bill I almost fell out of my chair, we got charged an extra five bucks a piece for replacing the...
