Fresh, fresh, fresh!

My favorite is their seasonal, freshly-caught, Columbia River salmon. Cooked to perfection, not overcooked as so many others do. Delightful clam chowder and loads of fresh Willapa Bay oysters or local Dungeness Crab really rounds out the meal. An abundant wine list pairs well with any entrée... read more

We had a wonderful dinner. I had nicely pan fried oysters which of course are local. My husband had a seafood risotta which was one of the specials that night. The Baja Margaritas were excellent.

I enjoyed Happy Hour yesterday at this wonderful little restaurant. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay from the Happy Hour menu and was pleasantly surprised. It was only $6 and for that price I was not expecting much, but it was excellent. The Happy Hour menu has a good selection of small plates. I ordered a Caesar salad which was... More

Nancy and Jimella have a long history of producing wonderful food, starting with the Ark Restaurant in Oysterville which I remember from way back in the '80's. Today, alas Jimella is no longer with us, but Nancy is now operating a restaurant on the main highway between Long Beach and Ocean Park. The food is quite up to the multi-award... More

We had heard so much about this place and being foodies we had to visit... Yes it was ok but to be honest it was not as good as we expected.

Well for starters too noisy with loud music. We waited a hour before we got our food. The food and coffee were cold as ice. Not worth $32 a meal. Parking was tough as well. Average restaurant at best.

Just finished a wonderful evening at Jimella's. The spirit of Jimella lives on! Mouthwatering crab cakes pan grilled not fried, oysters that melt in your mouth, salmon that was moist and bouillabaisse with an abundance of seafood. We enjoyed our waitress, Stacy, and her recommendations. Also, Patty, made us great martinis in the new cocktail lounge. Thank you Nanci for... More

From the warm greeting, attentive service to the surprising flavors and attractive presentation, I enjoyed every bite. I enjoyed their Scotch salmon special using a scotch and Drambui slightly sweet and creamy sauce, the salmon was delicately moist. The owner/chef's own recipe. My husband had the steamed clams, saying they were the best he had ever had, and we split... More

Nanci and Jimella's is a feast for the eyes. This beautiful, intimate little restaurant is melt-in-your mouth fantastic. I had steamed manilla clams in a tomato based sauce with hard Italian (I think) sausage. Without a doubt the best I've ever had. My friend had the "fish of the day" and was equally impressed. Highly recommend their specialty martinis as... More

We have been customers going back to the Ark days in the 80's. Today the food and the ambience has never been better. My wife and I have been in and around the restaurant business for many years and have eaten in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New orleans and in numerous foreign countries, mostly in France and...
