I had the seafood stew (like a Cioppino) with the family. The atmosphere and views are great and the service is excellent. It is our go to place when we visit our daughter and son-in-law. You won't be disappointed.

Great spot for a long indoor lunch or dinner. It is also a great spot for a quick walk up bowl of soup.

While the prices are somewhat high at this restaurant, it is definitely worth it. The food is outstanding, the staff is professional and efficient, and the view is unparalleled. Overall the atmosphere is upscale but semi-casual, and great for any special occasion. Also there is a lot of history here; Ivar Haglund was a Northwest icon...

The food and service at Ivar's is always good - reasonably priced and within a lovely atmosphere. The Crab Louie salad is fresh and the crab is local. The view is always interesting - watching the ferry come and go and no matter what the weather, the tableside views are great. If the weather is nice - outside seating is... More
