We had heard about Ivar's and were anxious to try it. There was a big crowd but the service was excellent and the line went quickly. The food was very good!!! We had salmon and the crab salad and enjoyed it very much. The cornbread muffins were awesome. The décor was nice and homey and the restaurant was very clean.... More

Three ordered a salad ($18/extra, doesnt come with meal), one ordered a side of cup of soup, (doesn't come with the meal), one martini ($7.50), 3 coffees ($9). Total of bill with tip for 4 people came to almost $200.00. Waitress... More

We didn't need the full restaurant treatment, as we were staying next door, so we got fish & chips at the walk-up window, and the occasional soft-serve ice cream cone to eat on the pier. Consistently good food, with true cod. On a previous trip had an excellent smoked salmon chowder there, but seasonal and not available this time.

I lived in the Seattle area most of my life up until 1999 - I miss Ivars! My boyfriend had never been so it was fun to take him there to enjoy the yumminess.

We had two quite acceptable meals here. Food was generally well cooked and fresh. The location is great for views of the Sound, ferries scooting by and Whidby Island. Ambience and decor is better than fast food chain....but only a bit. Service was friendly and helpful but there is a definite 'get them in, get them back out' style to... More

"Why don't we all go down to ivars..." If you've ever watched tv in the northwest you've seen the ivars ad or heard it in the radio. We picked up our rental car from Seatac and we all headed down to ivars. The clam chowder is the best!

Stopped in here for drinks during our stay at the Silver Cloud. Nice atmosphere and prompt service in the bar; we would consider dining here the next time we visit.

Ivar's in Mukilteo was an excellent choice for dinner the night we were in Mukilteo. Our waiter was great in explaining the differences between King Salmon, Coho Salmon and Sockeye Salmon. Each of us chose a different kind of salmon with different preparations and each of the dishes were not only superb but looked fantastic when brought to our table.... More

I guess Ivan's is. Seattle Classic with different sites and types of seafood restaurants all over the Seattle area. We had dinner next to our hotel in Mukilteo and were not disappointed. The restaurant is a comfortable, with typical but tasteful nautical decor. The opening chowder was excellent. Rivaled anything I have eaten from Maine to Baltimore. Rick, creamy and... More
