Friends raved and we caved.......allowing them to drag us along to a local restaurant in Mukilteo that couldn't possibly be as good as they said. Well, it was. Four of us shared the largest crab cake I think I've ever seen and it was light, not at all greasy and absolutely delicious. I saw a lady at an adjacent table... More

My husband(who's a food snob and compares everything to meals he had while living in Paris) says the steak au poivre was the best he'd had since Paris. I had the cage free chicken and it was melt in my mouth good! Not my usual experience with a chicken dish. It's a nice intimate place for a wonderful meal.

Fabulous neighborhood spot! The food is always fresh, tasty and expertly prepared. The chef is always flexible about special requests and the service is pleasant but not intrusive. Nice wine list and great cocktails.

Highly recommend Johns. Had a great steak. Perfectly cooked. Ate it with a fork. AND by the way, I hate steak!!. It's true. I never order steak except for the once a decade visit to the Metropolitan grill in Seattle or Daniels Broiler in Seattle. Sides were adequate and well cooked. Crabcake appetizer unique and very good. But the best... More

I had heard how wonderful the food is at this restaurant, but it was not; it was terrible. Gray steak, way-too-salty mashed potatoes. Just awful.

While on a business trip we tried this place out. It is nice and small and quiet. Service was great and the food was excellent. The only room for improvement would be the wine selection. A little lacking for such as nice place. But, I would go again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed this place on Halloween night. The food was delicious and the service attentive. Hope to visit again soon. The martini was wonderful!

We went to John's Grill for my birthday this January. We had a reservation and were seated by a table directly by the door, it was freezing outside so we all had to wear our jackets at the table, which was a bummer, looking around at the other tables I noticed other diners wearing coats as well. I know heat... More

Took my parents here for their 65th wedding anniversary last week. There were 10 of us total and each dish was beautifully presented. I did not hear one complaint from the group other than there was a lot of food. Our party had anything from a hamburger to a nice steack with some seafood selections tossed in. I had the... More
