Same trains running on top (toy ones, relax!), same good quality burgers and the perennial smiles to greet customers. Would like to wish a long and successful run.

I want to give a shout out to the Chuck Wagon Drive In!! If you want a great hamburger and fries etc. then this is the place to go!! The workers are always genuinely happy to see each and every customer that I have ever witnessed them wait on. Their food is fresh, not cooked ahead of order time. Their... More

I have written a past review of this restaurant, and we really like it. Recently I ordered the Fish & Chips, and received 4 pieces, not 1/2 wide, mostly breading, hardly any fish there. Pretty bad. I know they change the menu around, but they were really bad. Calling the restaurant, you get the employees who answer, but can not... More

My mother is from Mt. Vernon. My mother and father would go on dates to this restaurant. They loved it back in the late 50's. My sister and I stopped by on a recent trip through Mt. Vernon, loved the old fashioned look of the place and great made to order burgers.

The original owners of the Chuck Wagon were a tough act to follow. Subsequent owners were sub-par. Current owners are on the right track. More expensive than national burger chains, but where else can you order buffalo chips while watching large model trains traversing a track situated overhead?

Like to try the different Burgers and also watch the train run around the track on the ceilings. Love to take the grand kids there as well and the folks in our 80's who appreciate the good ol' Burgers & more!

If you see something on the menu that is close to what you remember having, as and I'll bet they will fix it. Ice cream dishes good; pastries fine; meat and fish dishes very good. Kids will enjoy wathing the overhead toy trains going around. Jukebox - stay in; take-out quick. Recent change of operators have brought back the luster... More

We love the many types of burgers, real ice cream shakes, and the wonderful trains that run around the ceilings from room to room. Nice down home place to eat.

With family in this part of the world, we've now stopped by this joint three times and our most recent experience was best of all. We arrived a few minutes early to order meals for our extended family of 15, including children, spouses, and grandchildren. Basically, you walk up to the counter, order and pay, and wait for it to... More
