Love this memorable place! Everything I have tried has been super fresh quality and prepared/presented wonderfully. Truly a find. Excellent salads, vegatables (try the tempura or spinach),sushi, suyaki, noodle, seafood beef or chicken dishes...you really can't go wrong here. The atmosphere is great in winter or summer. A beautifully converted home and garden. Personable with white linen tablecloth/napkins service.

Lived in the valley for years had heard about Kyoto and had wanted to try it though we thought it was expensive. It was very reasonable and so good. Very fresh and tons of flavor. I had the Asian curry which was excellent. Then we had the berry cake for dessert it had fresh berries that where sweet. The cake... More

Food is superb and service very quick..we were served and out in 55 mins. You also have to be aware that in Japansese culture there are no staters and mains so everything comes together. We were seated in the private dining room which was downstairs but really nice. Staff are very friendly

We moved from King/Pierce county where there are much more Japanese restaurants than this area. Having found Kyoto Kitchen is such a blessing to us! It's such a nice cozy beautiful restaurant with very friendly waitresses/owners and serene/authentic Japanese décor. Comparing with Sakura Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar nearby in Burlington where we have been a lot too, Kyoto Kitchen... More

Tues 7/2/13 7pm: Kyoto Kitchen Japanese Restaurant/Mount Vernon WA: Lunch sushi was not enough to satisfy our craving for fresh fish. We pulled up the reviews for this restaurant and went for it. It was iffy upon arrival, only us in a good size parking lot. The inside has lots of charm, surrounded by trees and bushes, lots of windows.... More

We've been here last Saturday after the visiting the tulips garden. The place is spacious and its not so crowded, we did not wait to have our seats which is another good thing. We ordered the kyoto chicken for appetizer, it is like a karage and it tasted so good that we ordered another one. For our main course, we... More

After reading the good reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to stop in. We were shown to a table in a room that felt like we were in a tree house. Glass walls practically and beautiful leafy trees all around. A very serene part of the restaurant. We each chose a different dish and both were excellent, we will return.... More

The restaurant is located in a nice family-style building full of light from the skylights. The service is very friendly and personal. The food is superb! We loved the steak and salmon. The Asian dessert is wonderful.

This is my favorite place to eat in Mount Vernon. It's perfect for lunch with friends, a date with my hubby or a group dinner before a show. I love their Asian Curry and Teriyaki. Every dish we've tried has been wonderful. They use quality ingredients and prepare everything themselves ... and it tastes amazing. They are constantly adding new... More
