Great place on a summer day!

Went here recently with a group of 6, we had Burgers, French Dip, Teriyaki Chicken and everyone agreed, that this place is great! The food and service was very good. It is a bit dark inside, so we were thrilled there was so much outside seating.

This place is in an old house and is the perfect place to take the team after a game. We have eaten there many times. I especially love their breakfast. Dinner is good too, but really crowded. The service is friendly, but it takes a while to get a table and you will be seating yourself. If you don't mind... More

I am a once-in-awhile Roanoke Inn customer. I usually go there to meet a buddy for a casual lunch and a beer. The Roanoke has a lot of historical charm. It grows out of its roadhouse past and is probably mostly more imagination and nostalgia on the part of its customers than anything real and definable. It you've been born... More

I did not like it at all. Poor customer service, poor food selection, poor food taste, very noisy. $11.00 for a hamburger worse than fast food. If you ask for the ingredients or even for the brands they use they do not know. People in Mercer Island must be desperate to go to that place. All they can enjoy is... More

Located in a local neighborhood on the N end of MI along N Mercer Way about 1 block from the lake across the street from the historical VFW hall. During warm weather it has several outdoor areas that are very nice (one on a lawn and another along an outside porch). The place can be crowded and noisy because it... More

Fun, local, historic bar that serves okay food, but who cares -- the place just feels great from the moment you arrive. It's a comfortable joint that is a fun "go to" place to meet up with friends or the perfect choice for a parents night out. We love our Rowie!

I don't visit here as much as when I lived closer but the food and good beers are the same. Highly recommended for burgers and fish and chips if you are in the neighborhood. Definitely worth a drive and always worth a stop if your in the area for good pub food and fun.

The Roanoke is a Seattle icon situated on the west side of Mercer Island. Sandwiches, salads and burgers. Eat indoors or outdoors and be treated respectfully for a reasonable amount of money.

I have always enjoyed sitting outside at the tables in the yard, or the porch in sunny weather, then going inside by the old bar and fireplace for warmth and cheer on the rainy days. The atmosphere is local, friendly and the food is good old fashioned burgers, fries, sandwiches, and more. Good draft beer on tap, it's the closest... More

The Roanoke is a historic establishment and one of the coolest meeting places on Mercer Island. A great place to meet friends, have a beer and some nachos. You must be 21 to eat or drink there so get a babysitter and go! I would highly recommend.
