Disappointed last few times

Their location is perfect so they have been my go to place when I want take out. I have been disappointed the last few times. Most recently, I ordered Yellow Curry and Pad Kee Mao w beef. Ordered a tofu pad Thai from this place with two star spice. Well something more tasteless I've yet to eat. Dry, with no discernable flavour, let alone a two star spice, and no peanuts or lime. Just lots of bitter Mung bean sprouts. Did not finish this meal. A waste of money.

Easy location right off the freeway and great options for lunch. My son and I stopped by and really enjoyed everything we ordered. Tom Ka Gai (coconut chicken lemongrass soup) was excellent. I would definitely recommend Anise!

We have gone to Anise three times for lunch. The lunch combo is a real deal with a cup of soup, spring roll and a choice of excellent entrees with the typical star rating....a three closer to a two. Service and ambience are very good. Recommend!

Love love love their red curry lunch special and their tom yum Gai soup! The red curry is nice and thick (hate it when it feels watered down) with lots of chicken, bamboo shoots, and peppers. We live in Bellevue and make the trek over to MI for their food (we tried about 6 Thai restaurants near us and their... More

We moved to Mercer Island a few months ago and have been to Anise Thai 3-4 times. We've gotten consistently good food and good service. Pad Thai, Thai fried rice, and Basil Chicken are favorites. One of the better restaurants on MI.

This is my first time to try the Thai food, not my favorite, very small and unique place on the island though. The food came out longer than I expected, we wait over half hour for hour food and the place was not that busy, that was the reason for why the 3 stars for.

This is not your usual Thai-American restaurant (which is more than 90% of the establishments in the US, by the way, if you ask your Thai friends. The way to tell is if the food tastes sweet; it has been sweetened for north American palates). So if you are looking for the standard Thai preparation that you grew up with... More

We were looking for something 'close to home', so we picked a local Thai restaurant in an area full of outstanding Thai restaurants. We were excited after the appetizer arrived, Crying Tiger. It was perfect. Rare beef, loads of red onion, basil, mint and very nicely spiced. However, the other dishes were not so fine. The Phad Thai, which should... More

The only town center Thai restaurant. Food is good, service pretty good, ambiance pretty much average. Their curries are average for decent Thai restaurants.
