We found this osteria, after a few days looking for a restaurant with excellent traditional food close to Lake Como. The three of us had the menu which includes starters, pasta, a main dish, desert, coffee and a liquor. We were delighted by the different types of antipasti and also the pasta (spaghetti and gnocchi) were clearly home made and... More

We really enjoyed our lunch at this Osteria. We showed up on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation, but managed to get a great table at the front of the terrace with its beautiful view over lake Como. I don't eat meat but found a few options on the menu, one of which was a typical local dish and was... More

Not sure if we were unlucky here but this completely spoiled an evening of our holiday. The waiter was surly and abrupt and the service was shocking. I think it was probably because we mentioned being vegetarian and this was clearly a carnivorous establishment. There were a couple of meat free dishes on the menu (as the waiter sulkily pointed... This gem in the mountain is worth the climb, even for vegetarians. Our energetic chef created a family style vegetarian feast for our party. He was passionate about his food and was a suburb, creating a fresh gnocchi with herbs and cheese locally sourced. I'm sure it was spectacular on their terrace in the day, but surly enjoyed my evening... More

We were 4 people who had lunch on this beautiful located restaurant near Lake Como and it was perfect. We all had the chefs menu for 30 Euro including water, wine and coffee. The menu included antipasti - many different things, pasta - two different kinds, a meat course and a small dessert. There was too much food but everything... More

the food is amazing. All fresh cooked by the chef/owner. He's a quirky guy but very friendly and his gnocchi are incredible. His slow cooked pork is equally lovely and he has an outside wood fired stove for his pizzas. We ate here twice. His prices are very reasonable and ok, its not the smartest place in the world but...
