We started to look for a lunch place after visiting the air museum at Paine Field, and stumbled upon this place. Very good, authentic lunch, included salad, entree', sides. Friendly folks happy to serve and welcome you!

The food here is authentic Hungarian. Visited two times now having the chicken paprikash, wienerschnitzel, Lecho, cabbage roles and sausage. All of which are very good; my favorites have been the sausage and schnitzel. A large selection of nice desserts as well as imported food(chocolates, preserves, ...)

I love to stop here for lunch. They usually have one or two entrees written on the whiteboard to choose from, so on any day there's not a lot of variety. If you want variety, come back tomorrow and it will be something different. Everything I've tried here has been very good.

Lunch about $12, dinner around $15 Simple menu, but everything that we tried was delicious! I had the wiener schnitzel with spatzle, my husband tried the soup, some chicken and stuffed peppers and than dessert. We took half of it home, we also bought in house baked bread and in house made sausages. This place is vegetarian and vegan friendly.... More

The Budapest Bistro is tucked away in a strip mall on the Mukilteo Speedway between Lynnwood and the ferry to Whidbey Island. All the food is prepared on-site by the owner who is from Hungary. There is nothing fancy here, bit the food is outstanding. The menu is limited because there is only one person doing the cooking, baking, and... More

Stopped here on a whim - was extremely surprised and pleased! Elizabeth was very helpful providing gluten-free dining options. Yes, the menu is limited, but it's all the more authentic because of it. What she does, she does VERY well. The waitress was a bit new and needed help, but Elizabeth stepped right in and made sure we were taken... More

My husband and I came here on a date night and were very pleased with the food! My family is German so the sausage, butter, and potato/ egg noodle heavy menu was both familiar and comforting, while the Hungarian twist on things was a delicious change from the usual. The owner, Elizabeth, was very kind and attentive, checking in to... More

We've been here 3 times and found the food to be consistently delicious. Very fun to try something new. Though they have a limited menus, we have never been disappointed. Highly recommend!

This is a small family-run restaurant with attentive wait staff. The owners, who are from Hungary, came to check on our impressions of the food. The menu was limited to four entrees that were cooked fresh each day. Call ahead to find out what's available for that day. There was a good variety of homemade desserts and a good choice... More

At 6:30 p.m. I called to inquire what dishes were on the menu that evening. The owner told me almost all dishes were available as she had 2 chefs on duty that evening. We arrived around 7:20 p.m. to be told that they had been very busy and thus only the schnitzel and a risotto were available. Both the accompanying... More
