Just because it's a cafe doesn't mean small portions. My goodness... plates were large, food was amazing. I couldn't finish it all but next day left overs are always good... and OMG you've got to have their french fries, I don't think I've ever had fries like this before!! I will definitely be stopping by here again.

We had eaten here a couple years ago and glad we returned. I had eggs and bacon and my partner had the mini breakfast with egg, link sausage, and silver dollar pancakes from the Senior Menu. As she said "wish I could find some silver dollars THIS SIZE" as they were normal size pancakes and very good. Sausage link was... More

When we visit Lynden (during the vintage trailer rally in Sept) I always walk over for breakfast. A huge breakfast with a huge chicken fried steak and it holds me for the day. The wait staff have always been very friendly, the food well prepared and the paper ready for me to read. I go every day.

I choose this place for Breakfast because of the reviews on TripAdvisor. I was hoping to get something really spectacular but I must say it was just average. The Waitress was not very friendly and I had the impression she just did not want to be there. The coffee was not hot and tasted old. The portion was generous and... More

My husband and I recently visited Lynden for a vintage trailer rally. We stopped in for lunch on our first day in the area. The food was fresh, plentiful and reasonably priced. Good menu choices, everything made from scratch. We loved it so much we returned 2 more times during our stay. We enjoyed breakfast and another lunch in which... More

We make a point of having either breakfast or lunch every time we head into Washington. It's that good. Service is excellent. Old style country diner. Serious portions.

My wife and I have been here for breakfast a number of times and the food has always been spectacular. Servings are generous and prices reasonable. Some day we'll make it for lunch or dinner too, and I bet that will also be great.

This is a very good place for a family meal. The prices are good, the portions sizeable and there are many items on the menu. The service is hard to predict. Sometimes it is very good and sometimes one gets ignored and it isn't always related to how busy they seem to be.

Don't be confused by the menu.....for some reason their menu and another Fairway Café have been mixed up on Trip Advisor. Delightful staff and great food. I ordered the Reuben based on reviews....you might want to split it, it's huge and delicious $9.99. Everything is home made, soup and pies to die for. We had the Raspberry Rhubarb.....it has a...
