The atmosphere is OK and the bucket fresh roasted peanuts (in the shell) at the table adds some interest. The menu is not extensive but adequate. Thursday was Prime Rib night and the cut was of decent size and tasty. They are very inconsistent as to what is rare, medium rare, medium well, etc. It must depend upon who is... More

I used to enjoy this place. Great it wasn't but good it was. Keep in mind its Lynden so they will not serve you a beer on Sundays. Ok, I know that. Beer isn't a make or break with me. However, this place is a candidate for one of those Food Network make over shows. It's old, tired, worn, a... More

I've reviewed this place once before. It was so bad that I have not been back in almost three years. My wife and I decided to give them another chance at the prompting of some friends. Rather than dinner, this was a Sunday Brunch Buffet, and really, it was pretty good. In stark contrast to our previous visit, the service... More

Stopped here on our way from Abbotsford to Seattle. Friendly service and good sandwiches. Loved the peanuts-you can throw the shells on the floor. We would definitely go back for another visit.

We have eaten here many times over the years. The menu seems somewhat limited and the prices have climbed considerably and seem high for what you get. The service has generally been good, but the food quality has been erratic, sometimes great and sometimes not very good. It appears that the steaks are the best when the owner was cooking.... More

The food at the Nuthouse Grill is quite average while the price is a little high. We had to wait quite a long time for service. Definitely not our favorite place.

Our most recent visit here was for their reasonably priced Thanksgiving Buffet, with young-adult relatives from Canada. The peanuts-on-the-floor theme was appropriately absent for the occasion (although we find it kind of fun & not "dusty" as one reviewer mentioned). Food selection was varied, delectable and beautifully home-cooked; and someone had gone to the trouble of putting up some autumn... More

Such a fun place to bring the family, and EXCELLENT food. Their 'theme' is peanuts and you get to throw the shells on the ground. It's a crunchy walk to the table, but kids LOVE it and they're good about sweeping throughout the day (so it isn't unclean). Their steaks are incredible and their mashed potatoes are mouth watering!

My wife and I have been here twice, and can say without reservation that IF you decide to go, eat in the bar rather than the restaurant. The service was pathetic! We were not greeted at all when we arrived, and once we were seated it took a very long time to be waited on and the place was practically... More

the Nuthouse tries real hard but the concept of peanut shells and dust all over the place is not very appetizing for me at least - the food is passable - the place did smell of dirty kitchen floor when we were there a few weeks ago - nothing really wrong with it and it is a very popular place...
