A place with character

We visited during lunch time. We were served quickly. The pickled cabbage and pierogies were very good. My sausage was overcooked. My husband liked his huge Dutch pancake with strawberries and whipped cream. The children's meal was a large burger and a generous portion of fries with Edaleen... read more

I have eaten at this excellent only twice, but both times the food was oh so good. The service there was well received very well by my friends. I'd eat there again in a heartbeat.

My friend had the one one one and I had European Sausage breakfast. Deliscious! The dark rye toast and homemade strawberry jam was a home-run and the sausage was grilled to perfection. I will go back again.

Lovely restaurant in a lovely town - easy parking. We had the largest Panakoeken ever - beautifully cooked, crispy on the edges. Wait staff is superb. Will stop there on our next visit for sure.

This is one of Lynden, Washington's Icons. Unfortunately, it appears that they have resigned themselves to resting on their laurels. Portions are large, food is only OK. Overpriced and average service.

Ok, I have customers in Lynden that I take for lunch whenever I'm in town. Almost every time they choose Dutch Mothers as their place of choice. I have come to understand why, the food and service are predictably good.

I ordered just a plain green salad and the only salad dressing that was GF was oil and vinegar. The oil was rancid. My husband ordered their roast beef sandwich and it was as if the meat was old. Our mom had the waffle and said it was great! So perhaps the breakfast is the safest thing to order if... More
