Cute Restaurant- unique "Dutch"

It is a cute town, it has a cute restaurant. If you have never tried "Dutch pancakes" you have not lived. Get the Apple Cinnamon, cooked in, chock full and falling off the plate with whipped cream. A piece of pie...even sugar free bumble berry...or a schnitzel plate....you will love it.

Stopped in for a quick lunch / snack after an early meeting and heading to funeral. The meals in this restaurant are good farm style home cooking, whether for a quick small meal, or a full family get-together, from an extensive menu. Very good quality, wholesome food that will fill any appetite. Service is very down-home friendly. The premises is... More

What a pleasure to stumble upon this cute Dutch restaurant. Four of us all had different lunch entrees, and all were given an outstanding review! The portions were generous. The meals tasty. The prices reasonable. Servers were friendly and helpful. Would love to have a cafe of this quality close to my hometown. Highly recommend.

Stayed overnight in Lynden on our way to Predator Ridge BC for golf outing. Folks where we were staying recommended the Dutch Mothers restaurant and I can say there recommendation was spot on. Service was wonderful, decor quaint, and food not only delicious but portions were huge. The blueberry pancakes were to die for!!! Prices were more than reasonable.

We were with a group so we were relegated to the downstairs which is pretty crappy, but the food more than made up for it. Portions were unusually large and everything was absolutely good. Amazingly, prices are reasonable and buy about twice as much as in most other places. Just about everybody in our party had something different and nobody... More

Great food, atmosphere, and service. Can't wait to dine here again! I ordered the chicken fried steak and it filled the whole plate. Plenty of food with a reasonable price.

Our party of 4 had breakfast before golfing at a nearby course. The restaurant was not busy and we were seated promptly. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with special orders. Food arrived quickly and it was HOT! Tasty and huge portions. Each of us ordered different items and everyone was pleased. Great breakfast!

We stopped in for lunch on Saturday on our way home from a two day trip to Bellingham. The place was packed - a good indication of a good restaurant. We all had meatball soup and a bun. Next time we'll order a cup rather than a bowl as it was so filling, but oh, so good. We were seated... More

Had breakfast of Sausage biscuits and gravy and my friend had Eggs Benedict. The Eggs Benedict was served on a huge platter with crisply grilled hashbrowns (looked like real grated potatoes to me) the eggs were finished beautifully medium with no runny whites. The sauce appeared a little on the thin size-however the flavor was still very good. The sausage... More
