We stopped here on the way to Vancouver. We were very surprised how beautiful Lynden was a complete surprise, a very beautiful, quaint, and kind of remote small town. The Bakery served some traditional Dutch baked goods along with all the standard bakery fair . The cases were full and fresh berry pie was available in slices or whole pies.... More

A good old fashioned bakery with a wonderful selection of items. My boys always want me to get the Ranger cookies for them. Also serve breakfast and lunch menu items. Interesting Dutch donuts on their menu, pies, scones, breads, sandwiches, etc.

We came thru Lynden on our way back from Anacortes "shipwreck days" annual street market and glad we did. This charming little hamlet needs all the tourist traffic it can find. The berry festival was okay -we found a pint of berries at $3US or $4CA **** really extreme!!!! over 33% exchange?? so we walked away but what we found... More

This bakery had a great selection. They had pies, cookies, breads, pastries and you could order a sandwich. I asked the staff to point out anything that was Danish. Brought home several items. All were flavorful, but nothing to go out of your way for.

My husband and I stopped here to grab a late afternoon sandwich prior to crossing the border into Canada. The sandwich was good; we had their daily special. We made a mistake of buying their scones that were 50% off....they were stale. We didn't say anything but really they should have thrown them out rather than put them on special.... More

We always stop in here because my husband loves the muffins and they truly are something special, very decadent, we have not seen those anywhere else before ! The items that attract my attention are the almond filled pastries, like "gevulde koeken", or when in season the "oliebollen". However they bear only a resemblance in looks to the real Dutch... More

Stopped in & bought a cookie & éclair....very hard to decide what to get, it ALL looked outstanding. We asked the cashier's advise & she was right. Both were very good, wish we had purchased more!

I hadn't been here in a few years, but dreamed of their pies. Nov 2013, we stopped in for tea and pie. Delicious. Chocolate Caramel Pie. It has a cookie crust and while they seem to have changed the recipe a little ( there used to be a thicker layer of caramel on the crust), it was still damn fine.... More

My wife and I had lunch at the Lynden Dutch Bakery in Lynden, WA. They have a tasty collection of treats and some some really good sandwiches, soups, and other eats to choose from. If you're vegetarian or vegan though, you must ASK what's in some selections (that's almost always true anyway). The counter girls didn't know so had to... More
