A touch of Holland

We never fail to stop here whenever we are in Lynden. They make wonderful pies, cakes, bread and pastries. You cannot beat the price ($7.95) for a great, delicious, freshly made sandwich which is loaded with goodness. Service is excellent, staff are very friendly and accommodating. Love the ambiance here and the service is great. Friendly people. My review only covers donuts and cinnamon rolls. Way too expensive and taste the same as any other donut. $2 for a donut is way overpriced. $4 for a large cinnamon roll would be acceptable but it wasn't that special either. I would definitely go there again to try... More

A great bakery! They have a wonderful variety of scones and breads as well as desserts, especially pies, that can't be beat. Lunch is also served here.

Did the day trip to the states and visited the quaint town of Lynden Washington. One of the hottest days so we went into the bakery for a light lunch. We were warmly welcomed and drooled over the many amazing treats. We enjoyed one of the Specials of the Day - Beef Dip on a Kaiser and we decided to... More

Excellent pastries! Very lucky to the there in the fresh raspberry season, so the perfect match of pastries and raspberries served by friendly staff - patient too..there were many choices to consider. The coffee was OK but outclassed by the pastries. Very friendly and informative lady at the visitors' centre - a volunteer.

We come here all the time and I can say that I haven't had a bad pie yet. The sandwiches are very good too. More of a good homemade taste rather than production that you get at Subway. Also well known for their unique Dutch specialties as well. Cute interior and exterior and the people are always nice. A must... More

The deli style sandwiches are really good and the pastries are awesome, however, it is a little pricey for lunch. The saddest thing about this place is not alot of seating for how busy they are.

It's been a while since our last lunch visit, but I was fairly shocked at the prices. A 1/2 sandwich, cup of soup, fountain soda and small almond tart for two cost over $31 which is about the same as a full meal for two at many places. Yes, the food tasted good and the service was fairly quick, but... More
