The restaurant Scapece is no longer in Long Beach - why keep the listing? You are hurting the very nice restaurant that follows it in this location - the Pickled Fish.

We made reservations back in December 2011 for our wedding party to stay at the Adrift and the Inn at Discovery Coast for our wedding weekend. We also made reservations at the top floor restaurant (which was The Lightship back in December) for cocktails after our sunset ceremony. During the year I have kept in constant contact with The Adrift... More

Not fine dining by any means. I hate old jam jars & pseudo recycling. Give me my Scotch/Martini in the proper glass. The food is only average & the staff get to use the bar & restaurant. Even McDonalds don't let that happen.

Experience: Sunday, September 16 approx 5:45pm We received a free appetizer with the groupon with purchased so we decided to head up to the bar/restaurant to claim the appetizer. There was nobody at the front desk, so we had to walk into the middle of the restaurant to be seated. There were a few families there, by no means packed,... More

I drove to Longbeach a couple Sunday's ago to have a nice lunch and to enjoy the beautiful day out. I had eaten at a previous restaurant that was in the same location that has now been replaced by this one. Well the View is Great ! Everything Else ? Not so much ! We stood at the wait to... More

When we arrived late at the Adrift Hotel, we knew that our only dinner option was going to be the hotel restaurant. This worried me a little, because of the concerns so many people have had with the service here, and because the prices were a touch on the more expensive side. Fortunately, the late menu is exclusively happy hour,... More

We were so looking forward to a nice dinner while staying at the quaint Adrift Hotel. The view from the restaurant looked fabulous... very romantic setting on the water. Perfect to watch the sunset. When we first arrived, no one greeted us at the entrance. We just stood there for a few moments before the pizza chef invited us to... More

We were in Long Beach on vacation and decided to try this location - mainly for the view but we were very surprised by the food. The restaurant has a wood oven and makes hand tossed pizza to order. The biggest surprise of the meal was the dungeness crab macaroni. This entree is definitely understated by its description. It is... More

Friends and family were in Long Beach for the kite festival and thought this restaurant would be a good choice, with an awesome view of the ocean...Wrong! The view was great, but everything else was terrible. The pizza was overpowering with gorgonzola cheese. The house salad was too salty to eat and my salmon filet was not done. Everyone at... More

We were in Lon Beach for the International Kite Festival and were on our way home and wanted to have some lunch before we hit the road. When we went into Scapece , we were the only ones in the restaurant . The waitress came over and gave us our menu, I had to ask for water, and she brought... More
