We ALWAYS stop at Cottage Bakery when we visit Long Beach. The bakery items are phenomenal! The date filled roll-ups are so yummy... And the florentines are irresistible! The clam chowder & sandwiches are well worth the trip! GO! ENJOY! You'll be happy that you did.

Great baked goods. Early risers to fill even the earliest of fisherman and other local workers. Mmm, and the smells. Have a bear claw!

We were told to stop here by a couple we met in Astoria; it was a great recommendation. In two days we tried the cinnamon buns, chocolate éclairs, devil dogs (Bavarian Cream filled donuts) and giants peanut butter m&m cookies. Everything we tried was divine... And now my pants don't fit but I kinda want to go back for more.

I love this bakery. My grandmother took me there as a kid. The owner has been there for 41 years and still holds all the sweet memories of my childhood.

I had a bismark that was easily the best bismark I have ever eaten. I also had a half order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was light and fluffy but the gravy was nothing spectacular. I have never had a bad pastry, bread, or doughnut from this place. All of their baked goods are fresh and delicious.

We went into this bakery because of all the people coming out with yumyum looks on their faces, and boxes of goodies. We had their handmade fresh sandwiches for lunch. They were DELICIOUS. One of the best the three of us had had. The prices are very reasonable. The chocolate covered rum balls are to die for! Very rich and... More

The coffee is weak... We had bagels and cream cheese. The bagels are not traditional and dense. These are soft and look like bagels. They are generous with the cream cheese. $12 for two coffees and two bagels with cream cheese. A bit high I think. Many choices for sweet pastries, baked goods, cakes, cookies... Might go for dessert next... More

I say a bit too sweet because I am diabetic, lol. Everything I sampled however was quite amazing. I didn't try any of their deli food, but I would highly recommend all of the baked treats to anyone whose body still makes and properly uses insulin.

This is a very local bakery which was recommended by another friend and was amazed at the quality, price and variation. One of the best bakeries I have visited.
