They have a wide variety of baked goods. They also have great sandwiches and lunch specials. They do not accept debit/credit cards. They do have a cash machine in the shop. They have limited seating (not very comfortable) but the food makes it all worth it.

I had not been to Long Beach since I was a teenager (20 years ago) but I swear this is the same place my Grandfather visited often back then as his favorite bakery and it did not dissapoint. It is CASH ONLY, so be prepared before you go. No lines for us as we were here mid-week and in low... More

My husband had the apple fritter and maple bar to compare to here at home. The fritter was incredible. The maple bar was average. I shared with him the half order biscuit with sausage gravy and tho tasty it's not worth $5 for one little biscuit and a decent bit of gravy. I would have paid $3.50 for it tops... More

Not only the huge variety of Pastries but also breakfast sandwiches, lunch and dinner make this a place to frequent if you are in the area. Unless you are on a diet, you won't regret it! They are open 24 hours and items are made fresh each day. The raspberry filled donuts must have had a half cup of filling... More

Wonderful sandwiches. Thick with great choice of breads. Had turkey melt and mushroom soup. Quick cafeteria type service with sandwiches made for you. Big enuf to share but why? No room for dessert so took it with us. Tremendous variety. Opens at 4 AM. Really! Worth an out of the way trip.

The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the workers were very patient and friendly, even though we had a group of ten people in their very busy Sunday morning crowd. But most of all: The pastries and baked goods we got for our last breakfast in town were a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!!

We stopped here for a quick energy infusion during our morning bike ride around Long Beach and immediately dubbed this bakery Point Indecision due to the huge array of gorgeous baked items lined up in the display cases. After finally making our decision we were not disappointed AND the coffee was good too! This is a great people watching place... More

I've eaten here for breakfast and lunch, plus bought bread.and pastries. My personal favorite sandwich is a turkey on sourdough which has cranberry and cream cheese. Omg! The banana cream pie... Omg! I can honestly say I've never been disappointed. This place always stays busy for good reason. Lucky me,I live close.

A sweet lil bakery for early morning coffee or a great place to get a picnic lunch. The pastries, donuts and goodies are fresh and delicious. The sandwiches are also fresh, quick and easy. Good coffee and lattes! We love the Cottage Bakery!
