I have to say this is the busiest place in Long Beach for both tourists and locals. It is a great meeting place and the bakery goods are wonderful. Their breads are wonderful and pastries fantastic. A nice cup of coffee or tea and rosette…you died and went to heaven!

The Cottage Bakery is amazing. Around 60 different kinds of donuts, plus a bunch of other stuff. They even do custom hamburger and hot dog buns if you call a day ahead. Service is always excellent. The baked goods are always fresh (often straight off the cooking pan) and delicious. The Cottage Bakery is a mandatory stop for anyone visiting... More

A great place to stop for coffee and pastries. But, oh so difficult to decide which one. Husband went back for biscuit and gravy, equally good, he said.

We have loved this little bakery for 20 years and every time we go to LB we have to stop by. Everything is great-but personal favorite is the cinnamon bread. Oh yummmmmmmmm. :)

Devil dogs are prob the best thing there! It's almost worth the long drive to long beach just for those! I had a sandwich for lunch it was made with good bread but the rest of the sandwich was just ok nothing spectacular! Would go back again for pastries! Lunch I could prob find a better choice!

The pastries are delicious and we also pick up our bakery bread supply for the week here. Great place to grab something if you are headed out of town to see the area sites.

Donut's, Bearclaw's, Danishes oh my. Gained 5 lbs just looking at the selection on display. The 4 selections we chose and shared were excellent. Note, this is a cash only business, which sucks.

We visited Cottage Bakery during the last week of July 2014. It seemed cute from the outside and my kids wanted to eat donuts walking backward since supposedly there is some silly law against eating a doughnut walking backward on a Sunday in Washington. So we went in and there was a long line, yet it moved relatively quickly -... More

Great pastries, huge variety, some quite unique, and a nice little deli. A bit over-priced and VERY busy during our visit.
