Fun Restaurant

Great family and group restaurant - the crab cakes were amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meal and had no complaints. Big screen TVs are on the walls so if there is a game on - this is definitely the place to be.

This has got to be on your list to try out. Its more than just a restaurant, its a bar and gathering place as well. I've been there several times and had excellent meals ~ especially the fish and chips!!!! The food, service and ambiance of the place is fantastic and makes it a place you must experience.

If your looking for a gourmet burger, you've found the right place,For you gluten free people, they offer gluten free options for most of they're dishes. I had the lamb burger with tater tots. They're tater tots are gluten free and are extremely crispy and you get lots of them, had to take some home.

After reading all the great reviews we stopped in for dinner. My husband ordered the fish and chips and found generous sized portions, but the fish was very fishy tasting and a bit oily. I had the crab sandwich which again was generous in portion size, but again the crab had a very fishy taste too. The salad was awesome.... More

Fresh and full of flavor. We had the crab cake appetizer....yummy and the grilled Baja fish tacos and the Hubby had the steelhead Mac n Cheese. Oh my goodness so good. We came early, around 5 or so on Easter Sunday and sat in the bar. Quiet and great service. Highly recommend.

We tried to go there the night we arrived, and they were not family friendly after 9(?) on Sunday. However, we came back on Monday afternoon for lunch and found great service and great food.

Long Beach is no culinary mecca (with The Depot and Shelburne Inn being the exceptions), so finding a decent meal at a reasonable price is a rarity. Under these circumstances, The Roo deserves 4 stars. It's not a chain and it's not necessarily Aussie, except for some of the decor, 1 menu item, and the owner who inexplicably found himself...
