Quick stop on way in..

Made a quick stop here on our way into long beach and before check in time, ordered oyster shooters & some wine, and also their steamers. The oyster shooters were DRENCHED in cocktail sauce (I've had my fair share of oyster shooters in my day), and these were so close to being good, as they were... read more

Friends visiting from out of the area wanted to go to dinner. We suggested the Roo. Service was ok. Good great. Waitress just seemed to be having an off night. Will try it again.

Had their pasta special. Very good. All our party was happy with their meals. Nothing too special though.

This is not your foodie hole in the wall or a high end fancy restaurant. But,for the money you can't beat the atmosphere and the experience in Long Beach. I highly recommend checking these guys out. The have a diverse menu, good specialty drinks and a good local variety of brews on tap.

The food was really good. The waitress was really helpful. I have to say the restaurant was very busy and we still received our food really fast. My husband had the steak and he said it was one of the best he had ever had. Will stop again.

This is an awesome place to eat--their prices are very reasonable, the workers there are very personable and helpful. They are upbeat and smiling all the time. The food is fantastic, we had a variety of foods, (ciappino, clam chowder, rib eye steak, crab melt, and mac and cheese with seafood. We all had a taste of each one and... More

We came back again for another go and the food was just as fantastic the second time around, two years later. I had the fish tacos which I thoroughly enjoyed. The prices are reasonable, servings filling, staff enthusiastic and friendly, however the wait this time around seemed a little long. Though it was a very busy night, so I'll give... More

I judge almost every restaurant by its crab cakes, giving them between a 1 and 10, and I'm not sure I have ever given above a 9. The Roo Cakes were superb, at least a 9+. Be careful on the hot pepper, staff! Service is excellent. Very young and enthusiastic staff in the kitchen and on the floor. The downside... More

Just great, reliable, consistent meals and service. It's nice knowing we will be happy each time we come back, which we do often. Good pub style fare with a creative twist and awesome beer, and cocktail selection - whether a full meal through dessert or just apps beers and catch a game in big TVs.

Very cute restaurant. Restrooms were clean. Food was great, the garlic fries have real garlic on them, not a powder. Everything we had was delicious and the server was very friendly and attentive.
