Good fish and chips ...

The Imperial Schooner is tucked away on a side street just off the main road through Long Beach. The decor is very plain and unrefined, but the service and food are top quality. This was my first chance to visit after the move from the Ilwaco docks to downtown Long Beach. Same menu, more room and more décor. Fried oyster specialities, "Angels on horseback" (bacon-wrapped fried oyster) and "Devil on horseback" (spicy angel on horseback) were still available but not on menu - you have to ask. If you like oysters, you'll love... More

Went went on a Friday night at closing. It was delightful. The atmosphere is quaint. We loved it. There are old musical instruments around the room and local theatre programs and photos. The owner says they love the arts. He plays guitar. The service was incredible..very happy and accommodating waitress and cook. My oyster burger was perfectly cooked with lettuce,... More

This place is small. Very clean. The owner was delightful funny and had good knowledge of the area. The fish and chips were really good.

Seafood was cooked to perfection. Fish and chips were great. Oysters and prawns were wonderful. Can ya tell we liked it?!

This restaurant does offer "gluten-free" fish and chips, but they do not have dedicated fryers. The staff was well-educated about what food allergies are all about. They kept coming back to our table after checking to see if the cole slaw had any dairy in it and such. So my daughter, who is a very sensitive celiac, just had the... More

This restaurant used to be located on the harbor in Ilwaco, Washington, in which I went to it many times when I visited this area. It moved, relocated 5 miles up the coast to a tourist area in Long Beach, Washington. I went there last night for dinner expecting another great meal as I had in the past, but that... More

This place used to be Aloha Charlies. We went in to grab lunch as all the other places had lines out to the street (4th of July). I ordered fish tacos. The tortilla was tiny, and granted, the piece of deep fried cod was largish, there was really nothing else in the taco except a quick swipe of a chipolte... More

As the owner of this restaurant, I can assure you, we make every attempt to provide a quality product to our customers. We have done so for 10 years. That is why our customers return. Whenever there has been a problem, and there hasn't been very many, we do everything we can to make it right. But we can't fix... More

My wife and I went here while on vacation last year. We were driving around looking for a good place for seafood with a view of the water. This place is so picture perfect! It sits right at the docks of the fishing boats, and next to a fish processing plant. I think that makes the food taste that much... More

A welcome dockside eatery which provides a warm refuge during morning boat maintenance work. Everything is served to order, prompt and hot. Crisp onion rings. Good burger selection, too. Also a selection of oysters
