WOW WOW WOW!!!

The food and presentation were awesome! The amount of food you get (omelet, hash browns, etc) is enormous! The biscuit is HUGE! Tasty, hot plate of food! Wish they were located were I live because they would be my Sunday breakfast to go place! Service is excellent too!

We asked around where to get a good Breakfast and everyone was right...Lauries was Good...Its kinda small place you will probably have to wait 10 15 minutes like we did, but I think it was worth the wait... Its kind of a local greasy spoon cafe restaurant, not much to look at on the inside or outside...its quaint little run... More

All the breakfast meals we ate @ Laurie's were wonderful. There were 3 of us and we all were happy, full, and satisfied.

Not sure what the fuss is about this place. This is another establishment that badly needs a better exhaust system for the kitchen. It serves only breakfast foods through lunch. My sausage tasted mostly of salt and my waffle was just ordinary. On the other hand, they had really good, brewed iced tea. Clearly people like it because it was... More

This was a favorite breakfast place every time we were in the area. But in late January, 2014, we were disappointed to find the place dark, and a "For Sale" sign outside.

Laurie's was highly recommended by our concierge. We were definitely not disappointed in any way. I had an omelet wit big chunks of blue cheese and pieces of very crispy bacon mounded over it, hash browns done perfectly, homemade buttermilk biscuits (huge)! My husband had the Hobo skillet, also excellent. We had more than enough yo take home for a... More

Home cooked breakfast, country type atmosphere. No waiting area. You are forced to stand outside to wait for a table most mornings. But once seated and eating the food is very good.

I make the pilgrimage to Long Beach every year just to have breakfast at Laurie's. It's comfort food at it's best! HUGE portions, share with someone, trust me! Yummy, yummy comfort breakfast at it's best.

I should have trusted the reviews that I read in regards to the large portions, but I can eat a lot so thought I was good when I ordered the Hobo along with a 1/2 order of the biscuits and gravy. Boy, was I wrong! The B&G were huge! It was a 1/2 order and is as big or bigger... More

My husband had the Meat Lover's Omelet, and I enjoyed the Waffle Combo. The portions were very large- if you leave hungry, it is your fault. The food was great, and the staff had some good recommendations on attractions to check out nearby. Would definitely stop here again!
