Wow! Breakfast that lasts all day!

We ended our vacation with breakfast at Laurie's. Wow! The portions are generous, the menu is extensive, the staff is friendly and the food is great. The breakfast kept us going all day on our long drive home. If we lived closer, I imagine we'd be regulars. It's just that good!

I was looking forward to having breakfast here after reading so many great reviews. I was so disappointed. The biscuits and gravy had almost a sweet taste to them - which I did not care for. Had a bite of my husbands bacon - it was rubbery and flavorless. He ended up dunking it in syrup to eat it. Service... More

I ordered the short stack buckwheat pancakes! Fantastic! Asked for extra crispy bacon and that's exactly what I got! Orange juice was large. Hubby got biscuits and gravy. Huge! Not that we're always big eaters. Quite the opposite. This was no wimpy breakfast! But the BIG thing was that it was really good! The only thing I would change is... More

On a weekday morning, we had our first visit. We both ordered the Farmers Breakfast, a twelve-inch cornmeal pancake stuffed with scrambled eggs and ham, and served with house-made syrup. It was terrific! The glasses for the milk and oj were chilled, and the tea selection was wide. The service was cheery and prompt. We may just go back tomorrow... More

Dear husband and I bicycled to this restaurant for breakfast this morning. It was great! If you love chocolate, order the chocoholic pancake! It is so awesome you'll clap when she brings it to the table! My husband had the buckwheat pancakes and they were really good too. The portions are big, price reasonable and the service is flawless!

We had great service - even though she was new. Big breakfast and it all tasted yummy. Definitely one of those places we will go back to on our visits.

We came in with high hopes, as this place has been talked up. There were signs outside indicating the restaurant was absolutely slammed, so busy we had to wait outside. Once we were seated (approximately a minute wait), there were more empty tables than tables with guests at them. We were promptly brought water and menus and were asked if... More

had a short wait for a table as the place was crazy busy even at 10:30 on Wednesday morning! once inside, you discover quickly why it is so busy, staff is friendly and efficient, food is out of this world good in large portions, and fairly priced. have to make this a regular stop when we come this way again.

This place is awesome! The menu will have you wanting to order more than one dish because of all the great choices, be sure to only order one though, portions are HUGE! Go early or you may be waiting a short to moderate while. The wait staff is super nice and helpful. We will definitely return on our next visit.

Best breakfast we have had in a long, long time. Wish we lived near here. The biscuits and gravy are huge sections of a baked fresh biscuit. Cakelike tenderness and quality. Very good gravy and lots of it. Great link sausage. Fresh. Hashbrowns best we have ever had. Crisp outside and almost mashed potatoes inside. Fantastic. Wifes bacon was very good.... More
