Laurie's was highly recommended by our concierge. We were definitely not disappointed in any way. I had an omelet wit big chunks of blue cheese and pieces of very crispy bacon mounded over it, hash browns done perfectly, homemade buttermilk biscuits (huge)! My husband had the Hobo skillet, also excellent. We had more than enough yo take home for a... More

Home cooked breakfast, country type atmosphere. No waiting area. You are forced to stand outside to wait for a table most mornings. But once seated and eating the food is very good.

I make the pilgrimage to Long Beach every year just to have breakfast at Laurie's. It's comfort food at it's best! HUGE portions, share with someone, trust me! Yummy, yummy comfort breakfast at it's best.

I should have trusted the reviews that I read in regards to the large portions, but I can eat a lot so thought I was good when I ordered the Hobo along with a 1/2 order of the biscuits and gravy. Boy, was I wrong! The B&G were huge! It was a 1/2 order and is as big or bigger... More

My husband had the Meat Lover's Omelet, and I enjoyed the Waffle Combo. The portions were very large- if you leave hungry, it is your fault. The food was great, and the staff had some good recommendations on attractions to check out nearby. Would definitely stop here again!

We went to Laurie's in November. The restaurant was about half full, therefore no waiting. People kept arriving while we were there. The place is immaculately clean, the staff friendly, responsive and efficient. The portions are large (actually huge). I ordered the Willapa Bay oysters which had five large oysters, hash browns, two eggs and toast. My wife ordered a... More

The BEST breakfast around, with an extensive menu and comfortable "grandma's house" feel. Prices are great and portions are large. I hear the restaurant is for sale. I sure hope that whoever buys it keeps this little gem alive.

OMG! So much food. Just what you wish for in a breakfast restaurant.Don't know what happened to "Fall From Grace" but we thought it was excellent. I had Hillbilly Heap and wife had the Skillet. Should have shared. Biscuits are huge. They also provided a sampling of some quick breads the cook was make in the back, gratis. Went at... More

This place has huge portions of great food. Service is quick and efficient and the menu is large and diverse. Had the pancakes and eggs - both were great and could not finish the pancakes. This is always busy but worth it.

Wow! What's a happened to Laurie's?! It's gone so far downhill from the last time we visited that it's hard to believe it's the same place. We've had breakfast there a few times over several years...then again last week when we were in the Long Beach area. Disappointing on so many levels...waited in the normal "out the door" line to...
