Hay J's is a Liberty Lake neighborhood favorite and you need reservations for a 6 pm dinner on weekdays and most times on the weekend. Wander in around 8 pm Monday-Thursday though and you can usually get a table. I can never get over it's location, in the same building as a gas station, but the food, serivce and atmosphere... More

We've eaten at Hay Jay's twice and have loved it both times. Their Seafood Cobb Salad is delicious! Also love their steamed clams and seafood chowder. Yes Hay Jays has an odd location but don't let that put you off. I've also tried their Butcher Block market and their wine store which also has been very nice.

Fine dining attached to a gas station? I'll pass, you say BUT THAT WOULD BE A MISTAKE. Once through the door, the ambiance will make you stay. The food is creative without trying too hard; modern taste meets country French. Good wine selection (they sell wine in store attached) and really tasty sandwiches. My son, 26, is a hamburger connoisseur... More

The outside of the restaurant is nondescript...but after reading the reviews, my boyfriend and I wanted to try this place out. SO glad we did! The food was AMAZING. We started with the Goat Cheese and Fig Crostini...FABULOUS. I had a caesar salad with blackened chicken, and it was great. The real star of the meal was my boyfriend's choice:... More

This was a wonderful dining experience! The food was amazing! We had a party of five, and there was not one complaint. The atmosphere is nice, and the service was great. We will definitely go back.

Great stop on the way from Missoula to Spokane this week. I really like the infused water--orange and cuke. The salmon was delicious and perfectly prepared. Very good service.

LiGood Food. Nice People. Place was packed. Great wine Cool ecelectic little place in Liberty Lake. But, the COFFEE WAS HORRIBLE. The whole meal was really fantastic except the coffee. I don't know why so many places get the coffee so wrong. It's the last thing you consume before walking out the door. The profitability is huge. And an investment... More

We received a very generous gift certificate upon moving into the area from a friend. We were a little leery as the restaurant is located in the same parking lot as a gas station. DON’T LET THIS DETER YOU FROM GOING TO THIS RESTAURANT. The ambiance wasn’t bad, there is no real view, but the food is EXCELLENT. Go, eat,... More

We were introduced to Hay J's be a friend, and have been back several times introducing more of our friends to this great dining experience. What it lacks in scenic views are more than made up for in the consistent quality of the food, wonderful atmosphere, and the fantastic service. 5 stars across the board. Prices are absolutely fair.
