My companions and I ducked into the little lounge in this restaurant after a day of shopping and found the year-round Christmas decorations to be very sweet, jolly and MANY~ the place has a certain "air" about it from all the decor that lends itself to a jovial, friendly atmosphere. The wait staff is friendly and attentive, but won't "hover"... More

The food was very good as was the service. The Bloody Mary mix is VERY spicy; be warned. The music was obnoxious; not what you'd expect in such nice surroundings.

We were popping in and out of places, and after a visit to one establishment the server told us this was a favorite place of theirs. Watched some football and had a couple drinks. Great service.

We only EAT to live - not live to eat. The soup and salads are wonderful and not expensive....and have a menu that is not all German - since Leavenworth is a "German-type" town.. It is in a convenient place, close to the motel as well.

My first German food. Waitresses were very nice and helped explain the food well. Entrees range from about $10 - $18, which is normal for a sit-down German restaurant in Leavenworth. German potato cake was great. Service and food were good. Wife liked the atmosphere.

My Philly Sandwich would not be high on my list to recommend...meat was very thick and tough....but the chicken breast was excellent...and so was the strudel.....

Atmosphere was great, wait staff was great, food...........NOT so great! I've eaten here every time I've come to Leavenworth, but THIS TIME was a terrible disapoinment! There were 8 in my group. 5 of us were not happy with our meal, it was tasteless! The rice that came with my sauteed prawns was soooo salty I couldn't eat it but... More

The service was lousy. We had to wait and wait for anything - for our order to be taken, for our food to be brought, for the check to be brought, for our card to be processed and returned. (The waitress actually walked around the dining room for nearly 10 minutes carrying the check folder with our card in her... More

We both had Schnitzel (one Wiener, one Jaeger) which came with a potato pancake, applesauce and red cabbage. There was a lot of veal and it was quite tasty. The sides were good but were served in little plastic cups, like a fast food joint. How about just putting them on the plate? The wine list at the table was... More
