The staff was very nice and offered various suggestions when I was having trouble deciding what to eat. My husband enjoyed the sausage platter. Teenager enjoyed the Chicken Strips. I had French Dip Sandwich. All were very good.

Reasonably priced, relaxed place to eat where it's appropriately loud and where you can take kids. It's my kid's favorite place to eat in Leavenworth. Never miss it. Food is always great. They do have some German food on the menu, but I wouldn't come here for that. Everything I have always ordered has tasted great.

They have a good variety of foods and beer. We had an excellent waiter. The restaurant was not crowded. Great selection of brauts and sausages to sample, but the also have salads and soups. Nice down to earth place to eat.

You went down a flight of stairs to find a small place with good food. We were lucky enough to be there for prime rib night. It was served buffet style with salad bar and baked potato--yum!

I had a beer brat with German potato salad and it was absolutely delish! My hubby had the cheeseburger and that was yummy too. Great selection in their soup bar and beer selection as well. Great for lunch while walking around downtown Leavenworth!

It IS located in a basement. It's a good place to eat some comfort food. The burgers are huge! Very casual place, simple decor. Interesting bit - people who visit there started signing dollars and taping them to the wall. You'll find other currencies as well.

Decent soup and wraps. Soups were underwhelming and watery split pea soup but, the chicken wrap had good flavor.

This is a little dive with pretty good brats. The rest of the items were mediocre, rolls were very doughy. Service was excellent.

When my family and I were in Leavenworth last time, we visited the soup cellar. Not a mistake! The staff were awesome! My reuban was nice and warm, but not scalding hot, and the rest of my family couldn't stop raving about how great it was! Will definitely be back!
