The theme and setting of the place are inviting, and I really enjoyed my meal. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. In this restaurant, I tried the best hot dogs I have ever eaten. When I go back to Leavenworth this place would be my first option to eat. Best food in Leavenworth. You cannot go... More

What else can I say? The bratwurst was simply delicious, and the homemade sauerkraut was amazing! No wonder that place gets crazy line-ups (it's that good!), but it's well worth the wait!

This is a fun and efficient outdoor bratwurst restaurant with beautiful flowers and ethnic art work. The local beer is also great. You are frequently joined at your table by locals and visitors all enjoying the food and experience.

This is an open air casual spot to have a beer and a bite. Nothing fancy, nothing stuffy, but a really good vibe. They have great kraut that you add yourself and an array of mustards that are amazing. If you want to feel good and be surrounded with happy, cool people, this is the place. Dogs, kids, live music... Get the pretzels, they are amazing! The place is laid back, walk up to a window, pay first, go around the counter and seat yourself. The bratwurst is just OK, it's good, but if you closed your eyes and did a taste test with Johnsonville Brats out of the supermarket, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The pretzels... Just like in Germany. Great German potato salad, too! Seating is outside with mist sprayers for the hotter weather and was comfortable.

We just tried this restaurant, for something new. We love German food and were curious about what all the hype was...the lines are huge! We paid $20 dollars for two brats and sodas. Not a bad value; howevever, it was about the same as a polish sausage at Costco. In fact, I believe they used the same sauerkraut. Cleanliness was... More

It was nice finding a unique spot amongst so many usual touristy things… which I guess could be said about this as well. As far as we could tell, the only seating was outdoors which is just what we wanted anyway. You ordered your food when you first get there - not many options but the essentials were there and... Our extended family visited in August, and although most of us loved the place, two did not! But then, they don't like German sausages or 'real' beer (they prefer Coors Light ...) If you do like those things, this place can't be beat. It is entirely outdoor seating (they've installed table-top gas heaters at many tables for colder days/evenings), the... More
