Once again I relied on Trip Advisor, and once again they delivered. This is just as it says, a fun, casual, busy place for good beer and brats. Definitely worth a try. Service is fast and friendly and a good selection of brats, kraut, mustard & sauces.

Simple yet delicious brauts, all kinds, and more mustard choices than I knew existed! beer from the local Brewery, what more could you want?! Fun outdoor seating.

The location and adorable courtyard are worth a stop for German basics like brat and pretzels. My son loved the chili dog.

We had a 1/3 lb bratwurst, a chicken and garlic sausage, a vegetarian wurst and Arnold Palmers. The place was packed but the service was quick. Loved the brats and the delicious beer from the Icicle Brewery! The line looked long as we approached but it moved quickly and we didn't have trouble getting a seat. Definitely recommended!

After visiting a bunch of gift shops, which is just about all there is in Leavenworth, we were thinking of eating at one of the two German restaurants, but we walked by Munchen Haus, and saw the advertisement saying that it was well rated in TripAdvisor. We decided to give it a try.
My first impression was "Local fast food"....

We had some good brats here. I can see that this would be a very popular spot during octoberfest with it beer garden. I recommend this place for a nice lunch.

I looked up what was the #1 ranked Trip Finder restaurant in Leavenworth. Munchen Haus came up. It lived up to its billing. Just follow the smoke from the grill and the smell....you will find the place. They have all kinds of wonderful sauces....obviously the curry sauce is the perfect combo with the curry brat along with relish and kraut....
