The kids couldn't get enough

This place was a bit of a stunner. We walked into poor ventilation from an overburdened fryer and it appeared to late to quickly exit. Worth a try we thought, and were pleasantly surprised. Beer was cold. The myzithra pasta made my youngest child a fan. The pizzas, even gluten free, were... read more

I like this place more every time I visit. Going in summer has the benefit of not having the leaks in the roof dripping into buckets around you. Good beer choices, inspired schnitzel and nice waitstaff make this place click.

Had supper here with friends in Aug. We all had different things from their German selection. Cabbage rolls were good as were the Snitzel, portions were quite large. The others were just average. Service was very good and prices reasonable for tourist town.

Food was good , prices fair for touristy area . Service was quick . Many German dishes , we tried 2 that were each good portions and tasty . German decor but pop music played in the background . Better to have german music to keep the theme .

We let price decide where to have dinner which was a big mistake. Although the waiter was very pleasant and helpful, the quality of the food was lacking. Next time we will read the reviews first and not look at price.

We had dinner one night at the Baren Haus for some German food. We've never really eaten German before, and our server was very patient and informative with all our questions about the different food. Our order arrived quickly, it was correct and - most importantly - it was delicious! I have no idea if it's "authentic" or not, but... More

We've been to Leavenworth at least three times a year for the last 15 years. We've never eaten here, so we decided to give it a try. Bad mistake. We were immediately sat, on a Thursday afternoon, ourselves and three children under the age of 6. There was one other party of two in the restaurant. There was one waiter.... More
