Juicy schnitzel, well cooked pork

We had the Jaeger schnitzel and a pork sandwich. Both were really good. My pork was cooked really well. The prices are a bit high but it's a touristy town so not unexpected.

We walked in for dinner w/o a reservation on a Friday and were seated promptly. Service was very good but a little spotty at the end. It wasn't that crowded. Food was good. I ordered the wiener schnitzel. I swapped my side for a side of red cabbage. The veal came out OK but was a little dry. Could have... More

I prefer to eat light, which doesn't describe typical German fare, but when in Leavenworth, you make an exception. Sort of. Cafe Mozart's menu appealed to me because they offered many traditional German dishes, but prepared in a contemporary way. They also had lighter, even healthier dishes, all with a Bavarian touch. The restaurant is lovely, classical music playing softly... More

We ate here and the food was delicious, the restaurant and atmosphere was great but they could use more wait staff to accommodate the crowd.

Our original plans were altered by the restaurant being closed, so we wandered into this place as a recommended second. So glad we did, it was nearly empty so we had basically 2 servers which enjoyed chatting with us. If you sit in the front it's more lit from the front windows but we chose the darker romantic ambiance. The... More

The staff highly recommended Café Mozart for German food. We were not disappointed! After a lot of walking all day, it was a slow walk up the flight of stairs. There was no guilt when we had dessert! We got to sit by the window where we enjoyed the view of Leavenworth. Unfortunately, we didn't get to stay in Leavenworth... More

This attractive restaurant is upstairs off the main street. There was a piano player on the night we went there. I ordered the salmon in fennel sauce with peas and whipped cauliflower and yukon gold potatoes. The chef came out and spoke with us. This was the best meal I had in 7 restaurant visits in Leavenworth during May.

Thank you for patronizing our family establishment. It's extremely unfortunate that you were unhappy with the service. Our waitstaff are known to be very courteous and engaging. We are fortunate to have such experienced personnel in our employ. The only time our servers are told to hold back on alcoholic beverage suggestions, is when the patrons appear visibly intoxicated, Regarding your... SO glad we came! This was our last night in Leavenworth and this was the perfect place to cap off our trip! Great atmosphere, service, and the food was amazing! We got the fondue which included, bratwurst, potatoes, bread, and apples. We also tried the sweet potatoes, which were the best I've ever had, as well as the caprese salad.... More
