My wife is not too fond of German food, so we don't eat it but maybe once a year. She does like spaetzle, and ordered an entree-size. I ordered Jaegerschnitzel. The German beer was quite good. The meal arrived quickly and I was surprised when my wife said it was the best spaetzle she'd ever had. The schnitzel was also... More

If you like German Food you need to go to Andreas Keller Restaurant. Keller means Basement...you will go down some stairs to enter the Restaurant and immediately you hear great Accordion Music. The wait staff is friendly and quick and the food was very Good, but the Beer was even better. The young Lady at the front was not only... More

All four of us ordered the weiner schnitzel which were outstanding! Spaetzle was light & fluffy (although red cabbage was a little too tangy and tart). Waitress was fantastic!!! We were serenaded by a very talented accordion player.

My wife and I had their delicious wurst and red cabbage--totally reminded us of the 3 years (and many wursts) living in Germany. The waitstaff was wonderful--pleasant, attentive, and made us feel welcome and relaxed to enjoy a great meal! Our waitress really hustled as did the rest of the staff, and all seemed to really enjoy their jobs. We... More

We were looking for a nice meal that would remind us of a previous vacation to Germany, and we certainly found it at Andreas Keller! The decor was wonderful, and made you feel like you were in a typical country restaurant in Bavaria. The menu is quite extensive, with lots of traditional German dishes to choose from. Between the three... More

Located in a basement along the main street of the Bavarian Village in Leavenworth, Andreas Kellar is a must stop for authentic weiner schnitzel. The booths can be a bit warm in the summer due to lack of ventilation but the intimacy worth it. Great food! Try the Grapefruit Hefewiezen. It's good and very refreshing.

We arrived early evening before the crowds and were delighted with the ambiance of this rathskeller. .Each of the adults tried a different beer and enjoyed the taste experience. We all chose something different in the way of their sausage special (sausage, sauerkraut and German potato salad). Our waitress was very patient in explaining the different types of sausage available.... More

Just being in Leavenworth sets you up for doing all things Bavarian while you are taking it in. The restaurant was recommended by a friend so we tried it for dinner. Even though it is in a celler it is easy enough to find as Leavenworth is pretty small. All three of us were enjoying our orders and passing 'tastes'... More

While a lot of their food is good, my husband and I have got our order narrowed to what we think is the best off their menu. We have been there almost 10 times, since we visit Leavenworth almost twice a year. We order the schnitzel, but change the pork to chicken, and it is awesome! We also change the... More
