We had a great meal and lots of fun at this restaurant. They have live music every night and the accordion player added to the ambiance. I enjoyed their goulash and also the apple streudel for dessert. The only downside is that they don't take reservations; I would recommend getting there early.

Haven't tried all the German restaurants in the Barvarian Theme park called Leavenworth, Washington, but my German dining partner thought the food was very authentic. Don't be put off by the fact that the restaurant is in the Basement. Access is still from the front of the building. Live accordeon music after six. No reservations, first come first serve. Lots... The goulash and sahne schnitzel are spot on. Oma's wasn't this good. Made just like they do in Bavaria!

I loved the atmosphere of this place. It's in the basement, but looks great. It's has wood everywhere, very warm and inviting. They had a live performance playing the accordian. Our waitress was super. The food was great. We ordered the sampler platter and everything was delicious. Also, the BEER! I'm not a huge beer drinker, but do try the... More

The food was great and the service was excellent. Enjoyed the music that was also being played while dinning.

I can always get a good schnitzel and kartoffel salat. the atmosphere is of course, German with a lot of wood and carving. You have to go downstairs, but worth the trek. The strudel is just okay.

The cordon bleu and kaese spaetzle were great. The goulash my wife and friend ordered was way too salty! they could not even eat half of it. We did tell the waiter. Beer was excellent, good selection on tap. Very nice authentic music in the form of an accordion player who also sang occasionally. Nice decor and very good service.

Enjoyed the fun and warm atmosphere - and the live music. Tasty and well-prepared Bavarian food. Amazing selection of sausages and beer - and try the Giant Pickle!

The food is superb. Cordon Blue Schnitzel with wonderful Spaetzle. Get a Dunklee (I think that was what it was - the smooth dark beer - YUM) and the knackwurst and bratwurst - SO GOOD. The atmosphere is wonderful, get a booth in a barrel. My father said the pea soup was the even better than homemade. And definitely pick... More

The spaetzle with the Cordon Blu Schnitzel was the best I've ever had. Better tha Austria! I wish I could have more. It was a nice small restaurant, as well.
