Had an early dinner so no wait to be seated. We had the German beef goulash with spaetzle and a pork cutlet with cream sauce and spaetzle. Both were amply portioned, tender and delicious. Worth dining there and would do it again.

This restaurant does not take reservations so we had about a half hour wait but it was worth it. A real German experience. Entertaining acordian player, friendly service and good selection of traditional dishes.

You'll have to walk down a few stairs to get to the restaurant. It has a very Bavarian theme. We were there on a Thursday night and they had an accordian player playing tunes. The food was good. We had schnitzel (breaded pork), noodles, etc. and very tasty. The quantities are large; neither my husband or myself could finish. Fun... More

No trip to Leavenworth is complete without and authentic German meal. You have a lot of choices when visiting Leavenworth but for the real German experience this place is it. Service is up/down depending on the crowds, we always try to get in before 6pm when its less crowded. Food is fantastic and delicious.

I had been telling my kids about this snitzel for years. Finally went and it was worth the trip. I love Leavenworth and this place is my favorite. Now they are fans too. My kids love the "hobbit hole" seating.

We had the cordon bleu schnitzel and the pork hock. The latter was a trifle dry (I am comparing it to a terrific one I had at a pub in Munich). The schnitzel was good, nothing to complain about. Service was very pleasant, and the accordion music was nice. Overall nothing to write home about.

Good Bavarian food with a gentleman dressed in liederhosen playing his accordian and singing, too! My husband ordered the Bavarian goulash and it was very good. Better than what I ordered, but that was just me. The only thing is that it is located in the downstairs/basement of this building and the more expensive restaurant is located in the upstairs... The food, atmosphere and staff were excellent. The overall Germanic feel of the restaurant and the great selection of German dishes went a long way to make us feel we were back in germany

This charming place is filled with the atmosphere of Bavaria with wait staff dressed in German costumes, and an accordion player in lederhosen singing well-known songs. I had the pork schnitzel which was very good. The hot German potato salad was excellent, and our server was quite charming, especially good with the two children in our party. Everyone had good...
