Had dinner and a few pitchers of beer there for our last night in Leavenworth. Food was wonderful...felt like we were sitting on a porch even though we were inside.

Had dinner last night at King Ludwigs in Leavenworth Washington. Arrived at 8:15 and they were almost closed. Everything in this tourist town closes early. I had ordered the specialty pork hock and it was a hockey puck. Maybe business was slow because they have had fires around here. I would not eat here again. The server was very good... More

Restaurant sits in a nice location. There are large table for big family . Servers are very friendly. A group of us ordered a family style platter for 4 including pork hock, fried pork cutlet, potato salad , two sausages and red cabbage etc. The presentation of the platter is delightful however the taste is average. i wish i would... The bathrooms are cleaner at an outdoor rock concert. The food was gross. The servers were rude and took my plate before I could even finish. The whole street was packed! This place was empty. Go figure! We were served by horrible waitress with a bad attitude and then an overachiever who grabbed our plates and then made us wait... More

Nice people; kid friendly. Reasonable prices for tasty food. Good beer choices. Not fancy, but quite good.

First off every surface space was sticky, the chair, table, forks, and my shoes were sticking to the floor. I didn't want to know why. When the food came it looked alright but was very heavy and didn't sit right. When the waitstaff came they took my plate with a couple bites taken out of it, took it to the... More

We stopped at this lovely restaurant for lunch and ordered their roulades and the wiener schnitzel. Both were very good, with red cabbage on the side and the roulades came with spaetzle and gravy for $13 each. Lots of food for the money!

Schweinshax'n is their speciality. However my father and my husband, an Austrian, were both craving schnitzls upon arrival and I just had a brat. Reviews said great, they said blah. Worst ever! Even with the tasty blaukraut it could not save the dried out cut of meat. To top of the disaster, a couple sitting at the end of the... More

We had lunch and dinner in early June. No crowds, great service, and honest to goodness Bavarian food. The Schweinshaxen were just fabulous with crisp skin, tender meat, and portions that were huge. The red cabbage and sauerkraut were excellent and the Bavarian sausage delighted my German wife. The locally brewed dark Porter was a great complement to the meals.... More
