Having enjoyed their signature Shweinshax'n at a cost of $27 in the past and telling everyone who would listen about their fantastic pork knuckle that is extraordinarily tender with just the right amount of crunchy on the outside I visited them again to utter disappointment. The Shweinshax'n came out almost white in color and was so dry it was absolutely... More

Had the sauerbraten and chicken snitzel. Both were excellent. The rotkraut is oustanding. Great beer too!

Great food and great beer! Stopped in for a quick dinner with the family. The kids split the schnitzel, I had the sauerbraten, and my husband had the knuckle. Each was delicious and they were even nice enough to bring out another couple schnitzels when the kids ate their entire dinner and wanted more! The décor was casual so we... More

Had spaetzel with goulash. The noodles were very light and delicious but the goulash was pretty weak on taste. Salad was very simple. I think there should have been a nice rye bread to compliment but alas there was none. Beer was german and good. We didn't have dessert. The surroundings had an old country feeling.

Let's face it Leavenworth has more choices to eat at in one weekend than you could ever get to... Why King Ludwig's you may ask? Farm fresh pork ham hocks cooking in the window! The smell of this delightful meat will just draw you in. The entry is a little odd and tight and then it opens into a Bavarian... More

Absolutely loved the food. Did NOT appreciate being coerced into sitting with others because you were busy!- Hostess simply wouldn't take NO for an answer and ruined our dinner for TWO

We read reviews and we looking forward to dining here. Waited in line, anticipation was building. Finally get seated. The waitress is not familiar with the german draft beers being offered. Finally brings us a beer menu. We were disappointed in the offerings. We order, the beers are served quickly. Order dinner, it comes out surprisingly fast for how busy... More
