We arrived and were ignored for 20 minutes. Reservations accepted but NOT honored. The food was not good, the service was rude and poor. Fish stew was all mussels with ONE shrimp and a few flakes of unidentified fish. The seafood pasta was the same with some overcooked noodles. We never received our side dishes. Wine was sub-standard. What's to... More

Mediocre crab cakes (way too much breading), decent (but not outstanding) calamari, very good service (let us try different wine), OK glass of wine (why was there so much California wine?)... OK lunch. Wouldn't go back....

My wife and I had lunch here on our 35th anniversary. We ordered the Penn Cove Mussels They are farmed on Whidbey Island. The tender mussels are sautéed in olive oil, garlic saffron infused wine, and a touch of cream and served with warm pita bread and butter. Delish!! The restaurant serves some good local (and non-local) wines and the... More

A friend and I recently visited Langley, WA. We ate lunch both days on the island at Café Langley. The food was great and the menu varied. The price was reasonable for the quality of the food. It is a very popular restaurant. It was busy but we didn't need to wait long for a table. Highly recommend.

Go for the local Penn Cove Mussels---large steamed helping, well flavored broth...good wine list, attentive waitress.

As a local, I take friends here all the time as it is a warm and satisfying experience featuring delicious foods. They start with the best, softest and warmest pita bread ever. I like the humus and babaganouj and a glass of Retsina with the pita. Then comes dinner. Delightful food and staff, a relaxed and delightful dining treat! They... More

We stopped in mid day at the restaurant to make a reservation for dinner later that evening and requested one of the 2 window tables, if possible. We were told they would try, but couldn't guarantee it - fair enough. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation, but before we could even mention we had reserved earlier in... More

Quirky spot serving greek inspired NW food. Penn cove mussels for an appetizer were perfect. Braised lamb was delicious. They make a good lemon drop cocktail. Like the fresh pita bread. Service was friendly.

We are visiting Whidbey Island this week and came upon this delightful restaurant. My husband and I both had the fish stew, and it was five-star across the board. The desserts were fabulous, and my daughter loved her perfectly cooked butter noodles with cheese. Great dining experience!

We go there several times a year and we're always leaving very happy. Do not leave without their special dessert "Russian Creme", it's the very, very best.
