Wow, Couldn't Be Better!

We have been here 3 times now. Each time trying something new. We have never been disappointed, and actually hummed through our meal. For sushi lovers (I'm not) they have that on Wednesdays, but you gotta order the day before. Don't hesitate to try Basil Cafe out! It's relish!

Our favorite restaurant on Whidbey Island. Great service, consistently fabulous dishes! From pho to curry chicken and specialty seafood specials, the Basil Cafe is highly recommended. My husband's favorite is the sizzling Hot Summer Beef. Open year-round, it is a taste sensation. You can't miss it! Just off highway in Bayview area. Good choice of wines too.

During nice weather you can sit on the patio. I had the spicy orange chicken, yum!!!! The price is reasonable, so why not add a glass of wine, and we did!

We enjoyed the fresh spring rolls, yellow tofu curry, beef pho, and a delicious vegetable soup. We are going back for more tonight!

Excellent shrimp and sizzling beef, stir frys and more. It is next to a popular farmers market held on saturdays during spring and summer through October. There is outdoor dining in warm weather.

Basil Cafe is one of those places you wish you knew how to find every place you visit. The food is excellently prepared and delicious. Once a month Chung's brother Johnny comes over from Woodinville and makes sushi for pre-orders. Fabulous!

Nice Asian restaurant, never quite figured out if it was Thai or Vietnamese - I guess I'll call it fusion. I had the noodle salad, large serving, quite tasty.

Had a wonderful lunch there after a couple of the local business owners suggested we visit. The outdoor seating was lovely, service was very fast and the food was worth coming back for. Everything was top notch. Planning on going back again today.

Great food and service even at closing time when a large group shows up without reservations. Eric Q.
