Breakfast on the Go

Going to or from the Ferry at Clinton, this is a great place to stop for breakfast. All your favorites, diner style comfort food. The best and tastiest fried eggs. They have specials every day. Often they have specialty pancakes. They have some of the best high grade bacon and bread (yes I said... read more

Neils is on our rotation of restaurants. I have to say their milkshakes (home made) and their burgers keep me coming back. Service is lacking due to turn over in their wait staff, but sometimes you just need a great strawberry milkshake!

I have been here several times with my Dad, as he is a "local". I have to say it is only average at best. Last time we went they tried to serve us burnt pork sausage patties with our breakfast, and seemed a little put-off when we returned them. Then my Dad told me that wasn't the first time that... Great breakfast here. Genuine locals place, not fancy, but good. The staff are super and the coffee keeps coming. We always go here for our breakfasts.

Price is ok. Nothing to shout about but substantial food. Don't order the crab melt. Smelled bad and didn't taste any better. Breakfast is good and it is something of a gathering place for contractors and builders on weekday mornings

We go to Neils every week for the good food and friendly people. Always great specials up on the white board. Good home cooking. Love the fried chicken.

I've lived on Whidbey for the past several years and love going to Neil's for the hometown food and atmosphere. I love dining and interacting with the locals. When I have out-of-town visitors, I bring them in for the Prime Rib special. Great little diner for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
