Best steaks in Olympia/Lacey

We recently dined here, our third time. This is not a place for an inexpensive meal: and that means there have been mainly couples here. It is small and quiet. The Chateaubriand for two was done perfectly. The sides are so-so, but the salads, breads, and appetizers more than make up for it.

So if you want the best steak in the Olympia area then head to Ricardo's in Lacey. (Ricardo's also has some great Italian food.) The atmosphere is quaint and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices are that of a fine restaurant so if you have kids that are picky eaters this may not be your place for... More

The place was packed so I believe my experience probably wasn't normal. My filet had a very salty sauce on it. I would suggest when you have such a fine piece of meat you offer the sauce on the side. The lobster was over cooked and almost too tough to eat.

Had a great dinner experience here last night! Ordered the lobster & prawn bisque as a starter and it was delicious! Main course was the tomahawk (30oz steak for two).... WOW!!! What great flavor, the steak had a considerable amount of marbling but it wasn't so much that you felt like all you were getting was a plate of fat.... More

Very good food! In fact one of the best steaks ive ever eaten! This place is great for those special occasions! We just cant afford the cost of this menu. Having average pay.........its hard to do the prices of their steaks; but if you want the best; you need to go here. Small intimate place; Staff is very friendly and... More

my wife and I ate here on accident as we were hungry and just happened onto this place. the outside really doesn't really do it justice. its an older house with parking in the back. once we turned in and got to the back for parking we noticed quite a few nicer cars so we thought we would try it... If we want a special place to go for a special occasion Ricardo's is THE place to go. It is my absolute favorite! His food is absolutely wonderful and the service, by Kim, is the best.

Kept the sign that they make the best Manhattan's, so thought to stop and see. Well, they go beyond just Manhattans and the menu gives a good idea of more to come. I had the Lamb, medium rare and it was a delicate balance of the meat and side dishes. The spices used on the meat made for a very... More

Our family comes here occasionally and we've always had a great dining experience. Attentive, knowledgeable service, great seafood, pasta and steaks, and they have good champagne on the menu to order by the glass. Good cocktails and an extensive wine list too. Highly recommend!
