Expensive but average

Ricardo's biggest claim to fame is their steaks. They age them themselves. I ordered a prime New York 5 oz. steak ($27) medium rare. For such a small piece of meat they managed to get one end well done, the other end medium rare. The flavor was pretty good but it seemed too tough for a prime cut... read more

We went at happy hour (5 p.m.) on the patio and had the Caesar salad (great), the don't ask don't tell which was 2 pancetta wrapped prawns with a little bit of lettuce (great), beef diablo (wonderful meat in a great sauce), clams Ricardo (very yum with the extra bread), shrimp tacos (2 were yummy), a glass of red wine... While there were no shortcomings previously, Ricardo's has stepped up its service and menu. An occasional take-out order, when things are hectic, is still as good as if you were sitting in the restaurant. The attention to detail, great menu and wide wine selection makes this a consistent go-to location .

We went here a couple days early because our schedule was going to be busy. Excellent food, my steak was amazing and my girlfriends lamb was very good. The atmosphere, the presentation, and the drinks were all awesome. Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Great service, great food, excellent wine! Can't ask for more. Will definitely be back! Top 1 or 2 steaks of all time!

Cannot believe we had not been here! The bread with the garlic, basil olive oil dipping sauce is wonderful! We had the bone in ribeye, with the Gorgonzola polenta, Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. Everything was fabulous. We had a great bottle of wine at a decent price. We had excellent service. The steak rivals any top notch steakhouse... More

This is an upscale, but still casual restaurant, serving lots of aged beef, and pasta's. I went with two friends for my birthday, and had my first Carbonara Pasta. I must say it was excellent! We started with an appetized of warm goat cheese topped with pistachios and reduced balsamic vinegar. It was fabulous. My friends both had a special... More

Ricardo's has gone through a transformation. The first time I visited here, they had a Italian menu. Now, they've rebranded as being "THE place for steaks". The interior is a confusing confluence of Italian vs. Steak House. But if you can let that pass... you can get to the food. Speaking of which... I had a filet. A filet does... More

Went with my family to celebrate a special occasion and I was not impressed. The interior was unique and different, however the servings were very small. The service was OK I may go back if invited by friends to celebrate another very special occasion.

If the service had only been friendly and attempting to appreciate the customer out for a nice evening, The excellent meal would have guaranteed many returns. Unfortunately the service left much to be desired and prices are too high for the overall dining experience.
