As a visitor to the area, the restaurant was a surprising find. The food was prepared with attention and flair and the beverages were made by an expert mixologist. The scallop appetizer was one of the best that I have ever had. The entrees were imaginative and demonstrated a passion for cooking that is rarely found. I highly recommend this... More

Hoping the title got you attention - as it REALLY did mine as the description on Ricardo's website. Dry aging/curing meats are the specialty and are well worth a visit if you want an "every bite better" experience. We ordered the rib-eye, filet mignon and shrimp entrees - absolutely prepared to perfection and presented with tasty sides of fresh veggies,... More

This restaurant was a 'google' find. We had never heard of it and were just visiting. They were able to get us in and it was one of the best measl of the trip. The scallop appetizer was wonderful. My chicken dish, very tasty and my husband's pasta, good and a good portion for him too.

Ricardo's biggest claim to fame is their steaks. They age them themselves. I ordered a prime New York 5 oz. steak ($27) medium rare. For such a small piece of meat they managed to get one end well done, the other end medium rare. The flavor was pretty good but it seemed too tough for a prime cut. It was... More

We went at happy hour (5 p.m.) on the patio and had the Caesar salad (great), the don't ask don't tell which was 2 pancetta wrapped prawns with a little bit of lettuce (great), beef diablo (wonderful meat in a great sauce), clams Ricardo (very yum with the extra bread), shrimp tacos (2 were yummy), a glass of red wine... While there were no shortcomings previously, Ricardo's has stepped up its service and menu. An occasional take-out order, when things are hectic, is still as good as if you were sitting in the restaurant. The attention to detail, great menu and wide wine selection makes this a consistent go-to location .

We went here a couple days early because our schedule was going to be busy. Excellent food, my steak was amazing and my girlfriends lamb was very good. The atmosphere, the presentation, and the drinks were all awesome. Can't wait to go back.

Cannot believe we had not been here! The bread with the garlic, basil olive oil dipping sauce is wonderful! We had the bone in ribeye, with the Gorgonzola polenta, Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. Everything was fabulous. We had a great bottle of wine at a decent price. We had excellent service. The steak rivals any top notch steakhouse... More
