A Good Steak House

From the outside you never would know this is a very good steak house as well as a pricey one. Service was uneven, people seated after us were greeted and served by the server before ours even appeared. Our steaks were very good but my polenta was very dry and flavorless. Good wine list but a... read more

This is an upscale, but still casual restaurant, serving lots of aged beef, and pasta's. I went with two friends for my birthday, and had my first Carbonara Pasta. I must say it was excellent! We started with an appetized of warm goat cheese topped with pistachios and reduced balsamic vinegar. It was fabulous. My friends both had a special... More

Ricardo's has gone through a transformation. The first time I visited here, they had a Italian menu. Now, they've rebranded as being "THE place for steaks". The interior is a confusing confluence of Italian vs. Steak House. But if you can let that pass... you can get to the food. Speaking of which... I had a filet. A filet does... More

Went with my family to celebrate a special occasion and I was not impressed. The interior was unique and different, however the servings were very small. The service was OK I may go back if invited by friends to celebrate another very special occasion.

If the service had only been friendly and attempting to appreciate the customer out for a nice evening, The excellent meal would have guaranteed many returns. Unfortunately the service left much to be desired and prices are too high for the overall dining experience.

I agree with other reviewers that the staffing is lacking. Also, the steaks were just mediocre. I ordered med rare and was served medium to well. We had waited so long that I just ate it. Polenta was terrible. Best part was my refreshing Caesar salad. I know that doesn't say too much for a steak house. Even though it's... More

This is our 3rd attempt in 5 years to enjoy Ricardo's. I want to like it many reasons it's locally owned, it's a steakhouse (which in Oly,Lacey, Tum area is hard to find, it's in a cute little house not a cookie cutter building, and lastly because in theory their menu should be good. Sadly every time we try it... More

Went there for a date night with my wife. We ordered the 72 dollar signature prime rib for two medium rare. It came out raw, not rare but refrigerator raw. This is a steak house that cannot even cook a steak to order. It wasn't like it came out medium and we were disappointed it was RAW, cold from the... More

We were so excited when we discovered this restaurant near our home. We love a great steak and had yet to find many places locally that could deliver. We did enjoy our steaks each time we went. Their chocolate souffle is delicious and they have a pretty good wine list, including many local wines. BUT, that isn't enough to deal... More

They set the romantic atmosphere here, and it is a quaint little old house that has been converted into a restaurant. Very pricey, and you better get a reservation way in advance if it is a special holiday like Valentine's Day! Have a glass of wine....
