Me and my mother have been to La Conner so many times and never realized that this little gem was set back off the street we have walked by a million times , it must have just recently opened in this location we assumed. But we were excited to see it's a beautiful place, very welcoming. We wanted to sit... More

Great food and a wonderful waterfront table too! The food and wine really was superb. We had a salmon dish and a pasta dish with prawns. Also, a salad....all was great...but have to say, the salmon melted in your mouth.

Delicious seafood (sort of a boulliabaise) and lovely dessert. What a treat! The service was great. We will be back when we visit La Conner in the future.

We were pleasantly surprised to be able to get a table without a reservation on a Saturday night, but our mood quickly soured. Once we were seated we were ignored. Two other tables were subsequently seated near us, and both had bread and their drinks before anyone had even come to say hello or take our drink order. A waitress... More

Sat by the window, restaurant is on the Swinomish channel, so had a good view. My friend had a wonderful hamburger, I had the oyster burger, very tasty, could have used a bit more sauce, but otherwise perfect. Good place for a conversation.

This is a nice new location for this restaurant. Not sure when the moved, form their old home but pretty recent. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. We only had dessert, being that we had eaten already. All the food that was coming from the kitchen looked very good, and the clientele all looked pleased. It was maybe... More

I really enjoyed the crab cakes and the endive salad with hazelnut encrusted chevre - both delicious and my partner had a "to-die-for salted caramel chocolate pecan tart" which I happily shared. My partner was not happy with his order of mussels - uninteresting sauce and I agreed when I tasted it. Great location and a seat overlooking the channel... More

I am told it has moved since we were there. The old location was small and tight but funky. Great food, friendly and unpretentious service. I am told the new is bigger and has an outside deck. Very anxious to give it a try as I would not consider visiting La Conner without a stop at the Nell Thorn.

The ambience is good-even though the artwork on the walls doesnt fit the decor at all. The mature waitress opts to serve our luke warm white wine for both of us over my wifes shoulder. The food is served once again over my wifes shoulder-waitress is too disinterested to make any attempt at service. My ordered Mussels are in a tepid uninterestinsg... We have always liked Nell Thorn's in La Conner and were anxious to see their new location on the waterfront. It had a more open and airy feeling but did not seem as warm and inviting as the old location. Both the ambience and staff were cold and unwelcoming. We sat at a booth and there were no seat cushions... More
