Summer sun and yummy clams

Couldn't pick a better spot to sit and watch the boat traffic on the Swinomish Channel as you sip a great wine from a good wine list and dig in to great eats. Try the clams. It's listed as a starter but the serving is entrée size. A side of garlic toast and you are in heaven. We had the... read more

We have been here in the past and always had a good lunch or dinner. Recently we met some friends there and sat out on the deck overlooking the channel. It was a lovely setting, and all four of us were very impressed with our meals. Not only was everything cooked to perfection, but the presentation was exquisite. I had... More

We chose La Conner for a few days stay as the restaurants had been recommended and it was a good base for further exploration. Unfortunately, this restaurant didn't meet our expectations. The prime rib was nothing special, although the location is very nice. It's difficult to know what to suggest when the prime rib in a restaurant called "La Conner... More

We visited La Conner for a week and had the opportunity to check out a few of the local restaurants. I was not impressed with the décor, everything seemed old and in need of attention. I ordered crab and was told the tank was broken and they did not have any. I opted for something else (which was not that... More

We were here on a Wednesday, chose this spot for lunch. Sat outside over the water, on a great day. The place is very clean, staff did a good job. We ordered our waiters recommendations, and the food was okay. In all an enjoyable experience.

It started out pleasant enough with a lovely table by the water on a beautiful sunny day, but it went downhill from there. The server was only visible at the beginning of the meal and the end when he presented the bill. In between we were left with a tasteless Rock fish, an over-dressed dripping spinach salad and Pan Fried... More

Good food, good selection and very well located on the water. When they have dungenes crab, it's a find but they don't have it always. As the owner explained, if they can get it at a a reasonable price for their customers, then they put it on the menu. She has her clients pocketbook and taste well looked after. I... More

We had dinner at the La Conner Seafood & Prime Rib recently. Our server was friendly and helpful. Considering the prices we expected something very good. but the meal was just okay. The view is very nice, but the restaurant itself seems less than clean and rather shabby. We were disappointed

We've walked past this place a hundred times and never thought to stop, so the other day we decided to give it a try. The fish and chips were pretty good and my wife enjoyed the chicken caesar salad. The service was good the interior could use some upgrading, but the view was great. A little expensive, but what do... More

Nice location on the water, but I noticed an unpleasant smell during entire time we were there. Never sure if it came from outside or inside, but detracted from meal which was less than average to begin with. Nice bottle of wine kept it from being total loss, my meat was overcooked, but my daughter enjoyed her seafood pasta.
