Yep the server made up for the mediocre seafood. "Best fish and chips in Laconner" .. they bill. Well there is certainly room for some competition then. But is wasn't bad.

Took our visitor from the UK (her first visit to North America) for a day trip to La Conner. After looking around La Conner we checked out places along the river to have lunch and found this gem. We had the fish special of the day and found it to be an excellent choice. The service was friendly and the... More

We recently traveled in the Anacortes La Conner area and found the Waterfront Cafe in La Conner. Great food, great service, great outside seating and fabulous chowder. We came back for our last meal in the area and again, outstanding! We love you Waterfront Cafe!!!

Finally can say I found a little gem on the water in La Conner WA that serves the best clam chowder I have ever had. It was brimming with lots of tastes, plenty of clams, and fresh oyster crackers. I should have got a bowl! Since my Nana had her own fish n chips shop in the Rhondda Valley in... More

We were enjoying this charming town and realized it was dinner time. We stopped and had grilled chicken , Cajun and buffalo. The salad was very good, fresh crisp lettuce. The chicken was more than enough and juicy. The baked potato was good. I suggest stopping.

We popped in to this restaurant for dinner during our weekend in La Conner. Unfortunately, the weather was not very cooperative and while we couldn't sit outside, we did have a great view of the river (and the rain). It was very quiet in the restaurant and the service was great. We both had fish and chips, which was very... More

We decided to go to La Conner for a shopping trip and to eat lunch. We were very please and impressed with this Waterfront Cafe. The staff was very friendly and quick to respond to our request. My companion and I both decided on the speical of the day seafood salad. We both enjoyed the delicious salad full of shrimp,... More

I would have to say we walked around for quite some time and looked for a place to eat and stumbled upon this restaurant, and boy was it a find. We had the best fish and chips I have probably ever had before and a delicious salmon melt. The service was fantastic.

I go here a lot. This is my go-to place in the Valley for Fish and Chips. Panco breaded and fresh, you cannot go wrong here. The iced tea is peachy too. You are right on the channel, so you may see the occasional seal hunting salmon or eagle soaring past. There is always boat traffic and no day is... More
