Good mexican food

Great lunch deals. Good sized with a nice price and the dinners are good. Go easy on the chips and salsa and you won't ruin your diet.

When we dined here there were only two people in the restaurant working. The staff was friendly, but the food tasted bland. Their tortilla chips tasted very off. Within an hour of leaving the restaurant we were sick and were sick for almost a week. I think we got Montezuma's revenge in La Conner from this place. I really wanted... More

The servers don't listen, the music is too loud, and the food made both my boyfriend and I sick the next day.

The Mount Vernon El Gitano is the best.....(Burlington has very bad and slow service--La Conner not to my liking at all). The staff and food at Mount Vernon is excellent. Great service---I personally do not go on Sunday because they have entertainment walking around singing and playing their instruments, so it is impossible to talk to those with you.

Amazing service! Waitresses were so friendly right when we walked through the door. The new management sign was up but we didn't expect so much change. The restaurant was cleaned up and had life. Beautiful Mexican setting to enjoy the great meal we had. A huge burrito filled with rice beans carne asada, topped beautifully with lettuce tomato and freshly... More

My wife and I came here for dinner and both ordered the steak fajitas, they were the nastiest things we ever had in a restaurant, the meat and overcooked vegetables were so watery they soaked threw the tortillas, I asked the server to take my plate back to the kitchen and ask the chef if he was proud of this... Bad, greasy mexican food. Booths are horribly uncomfortable, they do have outside seating so that's a plus. Not sure how much of a bonus that is considering the location. I definitely wouldn't recommend this one.

GROSS terrible meat the waitress did not even know what kind of meat it was! We ordered 2 of the Sizzling Steak Fajitas like we always do with 2 Cadillac margarita! They did not add the Grand Marnie (orange liqueur) as advertised just a squeeze of an orange! We have had this drink at this restaurant many times and it... More

Service is very good. The food is average and the margaritas are too sweet. I had the tamale and enchilada combo. The tortillas were not homemade.
