A trip to The Slip is a must for anyone looking for the best burgers in Kirkland! Succulent, tasty and freshly cooked every time - with or without fries you will not be disappointed. Other dishes also available on an extensive menu along with wines, beers and spirits. Great staff and great atmosphere!

When you crave a decent burger, beer and fries without breaking the bank, this is a popular and good spot in a super location near the waterfront. Our favorite sandwich is the tasty grilled mushroom burger, but the regular burgers are fine and wildly popular if that's your craving. I really do admire the fries which are crispy and perfect,... This is a fine place to enjoy a casual meal outdoors without spending too much. The location near the waterfront is the main attraction, but the burgers we ordered--chicken teriyaki and the house-made vegetarian--were tasty and generously sized. A small selection of draft beers at a reasonable price. We'll return another time for the happy hour wine by the glass.

Great place in the summer for sitting outside (usually a wait for a table) and enjoying a great hamburger. All the sides are great too. Not the most healthy, but a wonderful treat, once in a while.

New in town, a local recommended Slip for lunch. We were seated at an outdoor table with a nice view of the waterfront. On a pretty day it is a gorgeous place to be. Great local beers and fun cocktails. The burgers are big, juicy, tasty and perfectly cooked. The chowder was also good - chock full of clams and... More

This place is right on the waterfront so you could have food and enjoy looking at lake Washington, it is a very busy place and it's a bit tiny. Food is okay, the burger is supposedly very popular but we think it is overrated. Price is very reasonable and since everything is pricy in. Kirkland, this is cheap compared to... More

A very tiny place in Kirkland just steps from Lake Washington. Limited seating inside and seating outside for about twenty couples at plastic tables and chairs. Burgers, salads, soups and both fish and chips and a cod sandwich. We had the fish and it was perfect. It's not deep fried but was crispy on the outside and moist and tender... More

I have been to The Slip about a dozen times. The only reason I go is because my husband loves burgers...any burgers, not necessarily quality burgers. The Slip is located in downtown Kirkland right near the Marina Park waterfront. It's a great place to go and sit outside to have a cocktail and people watch since the outside patio is... More

Stopped here on a whim and found another restaurant that will not be here long. I hate to be contrarian about places like this however it is just another sloppy burger joint with a good location. Nothing I saw gave this place anything to notice above any other place. Service was good and attentive. My Teriyaki Chicken burger was served... More

I've been frequenting The Slip for a few years now and have not been disappointed by their house made veggie burger. It's a tasty mix of mushroom, grain, cheese and whatever else they throw in it. Sometimes, however, it's not tossed together well and is super sloppy to eat. Also, saying it comes with arugula should mean a small handful,... More
