This is a modern day watering hole for a huge selection of wines and a menu to match the beverages. Largely Italian in foods and wonderfully prepared. Service is a job well done. It's occasionally noisy but not raucous. And the parking is free.

I used to work and live close to Purple and it became a staple for date night. It is clean, upscale without killing the wallet. Make sure to call ahead on Fridays or Saturdays or else sit waiting for over an hour to get a table. Food was always good, as was the service.

We split The Egg Sandwich and it was the best one I have ever had. We enjoyed a flight of Bellini's followed by a flight of Mimosas. Very nice. Also enjoyed the gorgonzola stuffed dates and the fig and goat cheese pizza. Such awesome dishes great service and outdoor seating. Must return again.

A friend took me here for a night out. I was so happy that they could prepare any of the pasta dishes with gluten-free penne! I ordered the Wild Boar Bolognese, and it was amazing. Rich, creamy, and gluten-free. I dreamt about having the pasta again for weeks - it was that good.

It was crowded & noisy but we got used to it. A bit over-priced for what we got. We were able to walk to it from our daughter's wonderful hotel. We ate at Trellis in her hotel and it was very high priced but had a good wine list.

The BLT is reliably great, the early-industrial atmosphere with 75lb iron chairs and tables is kinda funky, and oh yes! They have an incredible number of wines available by the glass. Bring your Platinum card, though. This place is not for the faint of heart, financially speaking.

We enjoyed our dining experience at Purple Cafe as the restaurant offers one of the best Italian dishes in Kirkland area. The staffs are extremely hospitable and the food are excellent . Especially the salad and chicken entrees were well prepared. The portion is quite generous (considering the reasonable price) On the downside, the place is always crowded with long... More

Purple is an attractive, pleasant place in Kirkland. The food is very good and so is the service. My guest and I enjoyed half salads which were generous, not all lettuce like some places. The wine flight was delicious and service was prompt and friendly . Enjoy a pleasant lunch here . Outdoor seating will be available when it warms... More

I especially enjoy visiting at happy hour, and love the crab cakes. A little known fact is that for those of us who keep a fine wine cellar, or just want to have something not on their wine list, Purple lets us bring one bottle with no corkage charge. Good deal.
