Purple Cafe and Wine Bar pairs a global wine selection with a menu that combines classic American styles with seasonal Northwest ingredients. We feature an expansive menu ranging from artisan cheeses, starters, soups, salads, sandwiches and pizzas to pasta and seafood. We take a great deal of pride in utilizing the freshest, local ingredients that change with the seasons. On the wine side of things our wine list features over 80 glass and 600 bottle selections. Over the years our wine program has been recognized with various accolades that include an "Award of Ultimate Distinction" from Wine Enthusiast Magazine and being named "Best Wine Bar" by Evening Magazine's Best of Western Washington Viewers Poll.

The food at Purple is always good, but salty. I leave and can't seems to get enough water for hours. One of my favorite dishes they make is the Chicken Marsala. They change their menu seasonally. They usually server the marsala over mashed potatoes and it's so delicious and satisfy with the tasty mushroom gravy. When I was there this... More

I was taken to this charming café for my birthday lunch. Eliot was our server and provided us with recommendations for the wine. I appreciated the courtesy and care given to us. It was very enjoyable. Thank you.

We visited with a couple who we had not seen for a while. The service was fantastic and the food and drinks were up to standard. The interesting part we liked was that although they ad music the volume and quality was such that we could carry our conversation. No pressure from the waiter to get more food or drinks.... More

My last visit was so pleasant! I am a white wine drinker and asked the kind server for a suggestion to go with my pear and gorgonzola pizza. It was a wonderful "FST" Reisling and worked well with the pizza. I love wine and cheese so tasted my friend's dates with gorgonzola which were also nice. This is why I... More

We came for brunch and I was disappointed. When you read the description, the food sounds so delicious. Unfortunately, the food itself does not live up to the hype. I got a pork sandwich which cost $20 and it was not great. The bread was nice but the pork was not as advertised. My husband ordered risotto and it was... More

Yum! Their set menu is a fun way to try a variety of dishes over the course of one night. Love the chopped salad! Their ambiance can be romantic or lively, depending on the night. Love that they have veg options.

Without a doubt one of my favorite restaurants to take the kids in the area. Believe it or not they have a great kids menu. My kids love the grilled cheese and sweet potato fries. They even offer a flight of flavored milk for kids. The dining options for adults is even better, they have several salad and sandwich options... More
