The BLT is reliably great, the early-industrial atmosphere with 75lb iron chairs and tables is kinda funky, and oh yes! They have an incredible number of wines available by the glass. Bring your Platinum card, though. This place is not for the faint of heart, financially speaking.

We enjoyed our dining experience at Purple Cafe as the restaurant offers one of the best Italian dishes in Kirkland area. The staffs are extremely hospitable and the food are excellent . Especially the salad and chicken entrees were well prepared. The portion is quite generous (considering the reasonable price) On the downside, the place is always crowded with long... More

Purple is an attractive, pleasant place in Kirkland. The food is very good and so is the service. My guest and I enjoyed half salads which were generous, not all lettuce like some places. The wine flight was delicious and service was prompt and friendly . Enjoy a pleasant lunch here . Outdoor seating will be available when it warms... More

I especially enjoy visiting at happy hour, and love the crab cakes. A little known fact is that for those of us who keep a fine wine cellar, or just want to have something not on their wine list, Purple lets us bring one bottle with no corkage charge. Good deal.

I have been going to Purple Café in Kirkland for about 10 years and love the fact that I can always count on it. Kirkland is stuffed full of places to eat, and they change all the time - going back regularly on business, if I want to go somewhere that is good and I can trust, I always go... More

The food is great, but a bit pricy. The pairings are always spot on - someone really knows what they are doing. Happy hour is pretty good - the housemade crackers that come with the spreads are absolutely the best.

The food is good but the service so-so. I have gone in there and gone unnoticed for more than 10 minutes on more than one occasion...

Great place to eat and enjoy a glass of wine. I went for a business lunch and a romantic dinner. Both experiences were amazing. Definitely try the sea salt carmals. Wait staff is capable and friendly great place to dine.

I've been to the Purple several times for lunch, and have enjoyed the food choices. We had an excellent baked brie at $14 (we couldn't stopped eating, but it was a little pricey in my opinion) and also tried the kalamata tapenade spread with flatbread ($3.5). In addition they bring flatbread and crackers with butter. We really could have stopped... More
