If you really want to relax and enjoy this breakfast spot, don't try to go on the same day as everyone. Mid-week is certainly better than weekends for a relaxed, leisurely breakfast. They are incredibly efficient. Service is very fast and quite accurate. They strive to keep it moving - tables cleaned off promptly (could be a little quieter), orders... More

This is a primo chain with excellent selections that are always well prepared. When we arrived, we were greeted and seated with menus quickly. That's when everything went into s-l-o-w m-o-t-i-o-n. Our very nice server had no sense of urgency or memory... fortunately we were not in a hurry. Not only did a considerable amount of time lapse before our... More

Good place to go with family. Long wait and the quantity is too big for one person. Definitely worth it.

Lived in PDX from 95' to 07' and have actually been to this location around 01' when visiting friends in near Redmond. Love the OPH. Was back at this location for vacation to visit friends recently and chat and eat. Bummer. Busy as usual (no prob-expected). However, the food was not up to snuff and the sequencing of service was... I'll be the first one to admit I've never eaten any of the egg breakfasts, but they always look tempting on their way to other tables. My husband and I go for pancakes. I love the 49'ers and my husband's favorite is the buckwheat. They're always outstandingly good. We both like the side of bacon and the quality never changes.... More

Potatos overcooked, small eggs, higher prices etc. They better be careful or they will lose their following.

I really like their breakfasts. The restaurant is always packed, but they have good service and great food.

I heard many amazing things about this place and went to check it out last weekend for breakfast. I must say, they have a very extensive menu but the food is mediocre, especially considering how much they charge! The crepes are so overpriced and they aren't even cooked properly; they were doughy and my strawberries were half brown. The potato... More

I expected a wait in line on a Saturday morning with a party of at 9AM but happily we had a table in just five minutes. FYI by the time we left there was a line out the door. However, if you do have a wait they offer snacks. At the table the orders covered the full range of breakfast... More

The Original Pancake House used to be our go-to breakfast place in Kirkland. They had consistently good food at a good value and there were few choices that were nearly as good. Unfortunately, now they have upped their prices considerably and reduced what you get for that price. For example, the Home Fries and Eggs was my main pick. At... More
