I've had almost everything and the only thing I love is the country friend chicken. Its bomb, and the chips and salsa are good as well. Its kinda a small place that's the only downside. The bar gets full fast.

This place is in DT Kirkland, near many other restaurants, coffee places, shops and the water. It's a popular restaurant with a nice mix of offerings. The guacamole is good but a bit overpriced. I've always been happy with my meals and tend to choose different things each time. The HH here is pretty decent and priced well. A definite... More

We eat at Cactus on a regular basis and love it, the atmosphere is a little busy hence the 4* but everything else is great! The food is always of good quality but along with the busy atmosphere you can find yourself not getting the quickest of service. But this is definitely a restaurant to try out! Personally I love... While this is a chain "tex-mex/southwestern" restaurant, the selections are anything but ordinary and boring. The food was imaginative and tasty; the dessert was amazing!

The food here tastes fresh and much different than what you get at a typical Mexican restaurant. The menu items are creative and taste delicious. It's always a treat to come here to eat, but I recommend coming at an off hour as it gets very busy during the peak lunch/dinner time. It's especially crowded in the summer when they... More

Not your typical, "melt a ton of cheese" on everything, mushing retried beans place. Exciting takes on traditional things like tacos, but very tasty menu items that you also don't see on every Mexican menu. Salsa is fresh and home made, I also always start with the guacamole, again, homemade and delicious.

If you are looking for regular American Mexican food with more grease than bean, and covered in stomach churning cheese, this is the wrong place. Cactus isn't gall bladder damaging Mexican food, nor is it, for better or worse, California mission burrito and taco style. It's something a bit hipper, but not the Emperor's new clothes hip. I want to... More

This restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Kirkland, in a very pedestrian-friendly retail district close to the waterfront. My companion and I ate in the bar, which was comfortable and colorful. I started with a mint mojito. Best I've ever had. My companion enjoyed a signaure tequila drink. Chips and salsa appeared, and yes, the salsa may have... More

We ate at the Cactus Restaurant in Feb 2014. We went there on a Sunday around 1:00 pm for lunch. It is a busy place but if you have to wait it will be worth it. The you have to order the chips and salsa for $2.00 if you want them but they give you a big basket full and... More

The chips and salsa are homemade and out of this world. The menu is diverse and interesting and very tasty. The service was excellent. Upon presenting the menu, we were asked if this was our first visit to Cactus. After enjoying our excellent entrees, we were presented with delicious flan as a gift for trying their restaurant. Upon hearing it... More
