Super seafood

The Homeport is in a fine location, although on a winter's evening the view majors on twinkling lights rather than lakeside vistas. This is part of a small chain of restaurants that focus on seafood. They are consistent in their menu, prep and service. All of which is good. The food is a little old school and a bit heavy, but it is good quality. I would recommend this place.

The Kirkland Anthony's Homeport has a wonderful deck that's great for outside eating on a warm summer evening. Despite this asset, the salmon salad was so tasteless and ho hum, we won't be back. Salmon is not difficult to prepare nor is a decent salad. There's no excuse for delivering a blah seafood entree in the Pacific Northwest. We opt... More

I took my friend out to dinner for her birthday and gave her the choice of where we should go. She chose Anthony's. When we arrived, it was an approximate 20 minute wait for a table in the dining room, so the hostess suggested we go upstairs to the bar area. My friend is walking with a cane right now,... More

We keep our boat at the Marina here so we used to pop in all the time for a Bud's Stack and a glass of Chardonnay. Excellent happy hour value on drinks, but they took the Stack off the menu :( The entrees are large and fresh but very 'old school'. No fusion or spice, just lots of butter. I... More

This week we dined at the Anthony's Homeport for a birthday celebration. We enjoy their NW wine selections and chose the Indian Wells Chardonnay. Our appetizer was the coconut prawns which were very tasty. I chose the King salmon with cornbread pudding from the fresh sheet and my husband chose the lobster special which came with vegetables and rice. Both... More

Anthony's Homeport is a chain with several Seattle metro locations; I believe they all have water views. The one downtown Seattle is more expensive than the others, but it has a café section as well. Each one has slightly different menu selections and Happy hour times. This review is specifically for the Kirkland location. They have a Sunset dinner special/for... More

A Sunday brunch/lunch for the four of us, couldn't have been better. Waterfront view & great food. All 4 of us ordered something different so we could 'sample' each other's dish! We ordered : Bacon & Eggs, Blue Crepes, Homeport Bowl, and San Juan Scramble and we had complimentary fruit plate…All was more than we could finish, but regretted having... More

Superbly cooked, creative seafood dishes. Equal to any of the McCormick-Schmick restaurants. Ingredients are fresh and "local." A great wine list, too.

I ate here three times in August and the experience was the same each time. Great location, beautiful views and building. The down side for me is the service and food don't equal the environment. I like to eat in the bar area and that may be the issue, but service was slow, less than friendly and wasn't warm and... More
