The 39 year tradition carries on at one of the Northwest's most revered neighborhood establishments. Join us for classic comfort food, prepared from the freshest ingredients, served by a friendly wait staff that makes out-of-towners feel like regulars, and regulars feel like home. The Sunday brunch with our classic Eggs Benedict isn't just a menu item - it's a local institution. Or drop in for a drink in front of the 114-year old carved mahogany bar back, and imagine the stories it could tell you. The original brickwork and cozy fireplaces are still here. So is the longstanding tradition of great food with unparalleled friendly service. We intend to keep it up for at least another 39 years to come. Tasty brunch spot

We have been to Hector's on a number of occasions, and my husband pointed out that I hadn't reviewed it yet - my bad! This is a great spot for a Sunday brunch - lots of tasty offerings. Hubby loves their omelettes - I prefer eggs, bacon and hash browns. Service is fast and friendly. Can be crowded... read more

So the food is fine but this is the most incompetent wait staff I have ever seen. Big on talking to each other but not so interested in doing their jobs. The manager who allows this should get the boot, too. My crab cake was delicious but God help you if you want more coffee-or anything else-you should bring it... More

Locals recommended we meet at this location and I see why. The four of us enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere with great conversation and tasty foods. One had the Spaghetti & meatball special, another had the Fish & Chips, another had a salad and I forget what the forth had. However, everybody enjoyed what they ordered.

Service was great, food was great and we were seated quickly. Fish tacos were breaded so I didnt necessarily like that but the crab chowder was amazing! Great dessert menu too.

Looking for a place that has a lively atmosphere, good burgers and fish/chips, then Hector's is for you. Good selection of local beers, fun wait staff, and good standard fare bar food - gets crowded with the Kirkland locals on a nice evening when everyone is out strolling the waterfront...

Driving through Kirkland after an errand, and stopped by this place as it has never disappointed us. And it came through again. Had the fish and chips and some of the best I have had. And always a nice ambiance.

We haven't had really good experiences at Hector's in the past, though nothing completely untenable. But we decided to try them for brunch, and oh, my goodness, the Eggs Benedict! The Hollandaise sauce was by far the best I've ever had (creamy, delicious), and I've eaten this in many places. Worth EVERY penny!!!

So much cod...cheaper I guess. Dropped in for lunch with 2 associates and voila...Halibut F&C. Home run....and GREAT !! Good service (Cornelia), good food and a reasonable WA wine selection by the glass. The fact that the place has been around for > 20 years says something for it. Happy to go back next time in Kirkland

Had a friends dinner Friday night at Hectors'. It had been over 20 years since the old days of bar hopping and the noise level was increased by a large number of very small children who were out to dinner with their parents after 8pm. Needless to say, it was impossible to carry on a conversation especially when the kids... More
