The 39 year tradition carries on at one of the Northwest's most revered neighborhood establishments. Join us for classic comfort food, prepared from the freshest ingredients, served by a friendly wait staff that makes out-of-towners feel like regulars, and regulars feel like home. The Sunday brunch with our classic Eggs Benedict isn't just a menu item - it's a local institution. Or drop in for a drink in front of the 114-year old carved mahogany bar back, and imagine the stories it could tell you. The original brickwork and cozy fireplaces are still here. So is the longstanding tradition of great food with unparalleled friendly service. We intend to keep it up for at least another 39 years to come. You're welcome anytime, and we'll keep the fire going for you!

Had a friends dinner Friday night at Hectors'. Good American food, pleasant surroundings. Good place for lunch or dinner, maybe a little pricey for the setting and ambience.

Hectors has excellent breakfast and burgers. If you are looking for fine dining this is not it. Yet, the food is solid, service has been excellent over the years and the dessert is rock solid. Try the Big Kahuna. Vanilla bean and espresso ice cream, fudge, and macadamia nuts. A family favorite!

Servers were friendly, food was fine, average family dining. If you like eating at Applebees-type restaurants you'll like Hectors. Wouldn't be my first choice in Kirkland though.

I had the grilled salmon. Salmon was unfortunately a bit dry, but the accompanying salad was good. Went to Ben & Jerry's down the road for dessert so can't comment there.

We found Hector's to be a comfortable, reasonably priced restaurant with good options for kids. The food won't awe you, but it is good and the service is on top of it. There are two things we liked that push Hector's from 3 stars into the 4 star category: 1) The atmosphere is comfortable for families. It's not too loud.... More

Haven't been here for breakfast in several years but recalled them having top notch breakfasts. Place was busy on a weekday morning. Very nice grouping of choices on the menu. I opted for their CFS and was not disappointed - crisply fried steak, covered in (thin) sausage gravy - but loaded with sausage! Neither steak nor hashbrowns were oily. Marvelous.... More

We love to claim a spot in front of one of the fireplaces in the cooler months, or a spot on one of the two decks for great car and people watching. We have a dog, and the deck on the back or north-east side of the building is dog-friendly.

3 generations, and food to fit everyone's needs. I found their signature dish dungeness mac 'n cheese light on the dungeness and a bit fishy, and definitely not worth the $20 price tag, in my opinion. The macaroni was cooked to perfection, but they didn't drain it quite enough, so it was watery when you bit into it. The flavor... More

We shared three appies for dinner and a glass of wine each. The appies: seared ahi, lettuce wraps and crab chowder were great. Wonderful flavours. I had the creme brulee for desert - unfortunately it was mocha flavoured - I would have preferred traditional but it was OK. Good value for the money.
