service is decent, coffee is good. You can buy beans from them to make coffee at home and those are great (a little pricey but still good)

I have visited all location of Zoka and this is the best coffee that I have had in the US. All places are very nice and a good way to spend some time enjoying the coffee. When I leave Seattle I always take a bag of their coffee beans with me. Their pastries are OK but what makes the difference... More

This is a small coffee shop that has probably the best Blueberry Scone that I have had. It was a little short on blueberries but the scone itself was awesome. I would go back.

When you are from the Seattle area, you get to know your coffee! I admit it.....I have become spoiled when it comes to coffee. Zoka is first and foremost an espresso bar. It's not "factory coffee" (that would be a few blocks away at Starbucks) - the baristas take their drinks seriously and have some pride in their work. The... More

You think that being in Seattle force you to drink junk coffee at Starbucks, but you are wrong. Go to Zoka and you will have the best espresso or cappuccino outside Italy. Great atmosphere too and well trained baristas. Bravo!!!

This is a decent meting spot and people watching hangout because of the busy corner location. It's one of those places where you see people pretending like they are diligently working on their laptops when in fact they are there to see and be seen. It's great for watching Spandex walking in the door as every fit man or woman... More

I am by no means a regular coffee drinker. I don't like it black or without a good amount of sugar. It seems like most people I know have the opposite tastes for coffee, but I think I know good coffee when I taste it. Zoka has consistently produced smooth flavored coffee for my tastes. It's never overly bitter and... More

Zoka is an under appreciated gem in Kirkland--the original Zoka is in the U-district and now new Greenlake and Downtown stores The Kirkland restaurant has been around for several years and they serve great coffee--drip and espresso drinks, etc. We buy our coffee for home here as well. They have some great baristas on staff and the coffee is always... More
